How peptides work when applied to the skin

Human skin pores range in size from 91 to 267 nm depending on skin type and body composition. The molecules of di-, tri-, and tetrapeptides are less than 20 nm in size (as demonstrated, among other examples, by the neuroprotective peptide Pinealon). The size of peptide molecules is significantly smaller than the size of skin pores, allowing peptides to penetrate through the skin.

For topical peptides, the "500 Dalton rule" applies: molecules with a molecular weight of less than 500 Da can penetrate through the outer layer of the skin. The molecular weight of di- and tripeptides averages between 200 and 450 Da, which complies with this rule.

Peptide molecules are polar charged. This allows them to penetrate deeper layers of the skin, especially when using carriers such as polyunsaturated fatty acids and essential oils. This is why the PRO series peptide complexes contain essential oils. A peptide applied to the skin can penetrate through the dermis into the blood vessels and exert a systemic effect on various organs and tissues.

The molecular weight of the peptide EDR is 418.40 Da, with sizes less than 20 nm.

Instructions for Use

Apply a small amount (6-8 drops) to the inner surface of the forearm and rub until fully absorbed. Duration of the course – 3 months.

Simultaneous use of up to 6 peptide complexes is possible.
