Chitosan EKKO PLUS - Forte is recommended as a source of chitosan and an additional source of chromium.
Appearance and properties: round tablets, from light beige to beige in color. Taste: specific, characteristic of this type of product.
Chitosan helps improve the peristalsis of the digestive tract. By binding with moisture in the intestines, it acts as a powerful sorbent and removes toxic substances from the body, preventing fat absorption. It contributes to lowering cholesterol levels in the blood, strengthening the immune system, and serves as a means for the prevention of obesity and atherosclerosis.
Chromium is involved in the regulation of carbohydrate and fat metabolism, is necessary for the functioning of the heart muscle and blood vessels, and helps lower cholesterol levels, as well as eliminate toxins, heavy metal salts, and radionuclides from the body. Chromium regulates blood glucose levels, which is why it is known for its ability to reduce appetite, especially cravings for sweets.
The daily intake (4 tablets) contains, at least:
chitosan - 1000 mg - 33.3% of the Adequate Intake Level (AIL)*
chromium - 80 mcg - 160% of the Adequate Intake Level (AIL).
