Pharmacology
Alpha-galactosidase is a digestive enzyme that breaks down complex carbohydrates from the galactan group. It prevents gas formation after consuming foods such as legumes (beans and lentils), vegetables (primarily all types of cabbage), fruits, and whole grains. The enzyme helps to break down the bonds within carbohydrates, resulting in the formation of simpler molecules that are absorbed in the small intestine and do not reach the large intestine. As a result, the amount of gas produced in the large intestine by intestinal microflora is reduced, leading to decreased pain and bloating.
In the human body, there are virtually no enzymes that break down the bonds in fructans and galactans.
Incorporating the enzyme alpha-galactosidase into the diet is an alternative to limiting or excluding gas-producing foods from the menu. It provides the opportunity to maintain a diverse diet by consuming plant proteins (legumes, nuts, vegetables, soy) and an adequate amount of vegetables and fruits.

Альфа-галактозидаза - это пищеварительный фермент для расщепления сложных углеводов из группы галактанов. Он предупреждает газообразование после употребления таких продуктов, как бобовые (фасоль и чечевица), овощи (прежде всего все виды капусты), фрукты и цельные злаки.
