How to use
Orally, after meals.
For adults:
For the treatment of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) - 125 mg per day for the first 2 days of treatment, then 125 mg every 48 hours. Total course - 750 mg (6 tablets).
For the prevention of influenza and other ARVI - 125 mg once a week for 6 weeks. Total course - 750 mg (6 tablets).
For the treatment of herpes infection - 125 mg for the first two days, then 125 mg every 48 hours. Total course dose - 1.25-2.5 g (10-20 tablets).
In the case of persistent symptoms of influenza and other ARVI lasting more than 4 days, consult a doctor.
Use the medication only according to the indications, method of use, and dosages specified in the instructions.

Для взрослых:
Для лечения гриппа и других ОРВИ - по 125 мг в сутки первые 2 дня лечения, затем по 125 мг через 48 часов. На курс - 750 мг (6 таблеток).
Для профилактики гриппа и других ОРВИ - по 125 мг 1 раз в неделю в течение 6 недель. На курс - 750 мг (6 таблеток).
Для лечения герпетической инфекции - первые двое суток по 125 мг, затем через 48 часов по 125 мг. Курсовая доза - 1,25-2,5 г (10-20 таблеток).
При лечении гриппа и других ОРВИ в случае сохранения симптомов заболевания более 4-х дней следует проконсультироваться у врача.
Применяйте препарат только согласно тем показаниям, тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции.

excipients: microcrystalline cellulose 101 - 56.0 mg, lactose monohydrate - 55.0 mg, potato starch - 46.0 mg, sodium croscarmellose - 9.0 mg, povidone K30 - 6.0 mg, calcium stearate - 3.0 mg;
coating composition:
Opadry® 03B230045 orange [hypromellose - 62.5%, titanium dioxide (E 171) - 18.92%, iron oxide yellow dye - 11.5%, macrogol (polyethylene glycol) - 6.25%, iron oxide red dye - 0.83%] - 9.0 mg.
Film-coated tablets, light brown to orange in color, round, biconvex. Slight surface roughness is permissible. The core of the tablet is orange in color, with specks ranging from white to yellow allowed.

Contraindications & warnings

• lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of Tilorone during pregnancy is contraindicated.
If it is necessary to use the product during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued.
Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
The drug Tilorone does not have a negative impact on the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention and quick psychomotor responses.

Cases of overdose with the drug Tilorone are unknown.
Compatible with antibiotics and medications for the treatment of viral and bacterial diseases. No clinically significant interaction of tilorone with antibiotics and traditional treatments for viral and bacterial diseases has been identified.

Pharmacology
Low-molecular-weight synthetic interferon inducer that stimulates the production of all types of interferons (alpha, beta, gamma, and lambda) in the body. The main producers of interferon in response to the administration of tilorone are intestinal epithelial cells, hepatocytes, T-lymphocytes, neutrophils, and granulocytes. After oral administration, the peak production of interferon is observed in the sequence of intestine - liver - blood within 4-24 hours. Tilorone has immunomodulatory and antiviral effects.
According to experimental studies, after a single oral administration of tilorone at a dose equivalent to the maximum daily dose for humans, the maximum concentration of lambda interferon in lung tissue is detected after 24 hours, and alpha interferon after 48 hours. The induction of lambda interferon in lung tissue contributes to increased antiviral protection of the respiratory tract during influenza and other respiratory viral infections. In human leukocytes, tilorone induces the synthesis of interferon. It stimulates bone marrow stem cells, enhances antibody formation depending on the dose, reduces the degree of immunosuppression, and restores the ratio of T-suppressors to T-helpers. It is effective against various viral infections, including influenza viruses, other acute respiratory viral infections, hepatitis viruses, and herpesviruses. The mechanism of antiviral action is associated with the inhibition of translation of virus-specific proteins in infected cells, resulting in the suppression of virus reproduction.
After oral administration, it is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The bioavailability is 60%. Approximately 80% of tilorone binds to plasma proteins. It is excreted almost unchanged through the intestines (70%) and through the kidneys (9%). The half-life (T1/2) is 48 hours. Tilorone is not subject to biotransformation and does not accumulate in the body.

Низкомолекулярный синтетический индуктор интерферона, стимулирующий образование в организме всех типов интерферонов (альфа, бета, гамма и лямбда). Основными продуцентами интерферона в ответ на введение тилорона являются клетки эпителия кишечника, гепатоциты, Т-лимфоциты, нейтрофилы и гранулоциты. После приема внутрь максимум продукции интерферона определяется в последовательности кишечник - печень - кровь через 4-24 часа. Тилорон обладает иммуномодулирующим и противовирусным эффектом.
По данным экспериментальных исследований после однократного перорального введения тилорона в дозе, эквивалентной максимальной суточной дозе для человека, максимальная концентрация в легочной ткани интерферона лямбда определяется через 24 часа, интерферона альфа - через 48 часов. Индукция интерферона лямбда в легочной ткани способствует повышению противовирусной защиты респираторного тракта при гриппозной и других респираторных вирусных инфекциях. В лейкоцитах человека тилорон индуцирует синтез интерферона. Стимулирует стволовые клетки костного мозга, в зависимости от дозы усиливает антителообразование, уменьшает степень иммунодепрессии, восстанавливает соотношения Т-супрессоров и Т-хелперов. Эффективен против различных вирусных инфекций, в том числе против вирусов гриппа, других острых респираторных вирусных инфекций, вирусов гепатита и герпесвирусов. Механизм антивирусного действия связан с ингибированием трансляции вирус-специфических белков в инфицированных клетках, в результате чего подавляется репродукция вирусов.
После приема внутрь быстро всасывается из желудочно-кишечного тракта. Биодоступность составляет 60%. Около 80% тилорона связывается с белками плазмы крови. Выводится практически в неизменном виде через кишечник (70%) и через почки (9%). Период полувыведения (Т1/2) составляет 48 часов. Тилорон не подвергается биотрансформации и не накапливается в организме.
