How to use
Locally.
For the prevention of influenza: apply a strip of ointment 3 to 5 mm long to the nasal mucosa 2-3 times a day during the peak and maximum development of the influenza epidemic (for 25 days) or upon contact with an influenza-infected person.
Treatment of viral rhinitis: apply a strip of ointment 3 to 5 mm long to the nasal mucosa 2-3 times a day for 3-4 days.
If there is no improvement after treatment, or if symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, consult a doctor. Use the product only according to the indications, method of application, and dosages specified in the instructions.

Для профилактики гриппа: полоской мази от 3 до 5 мм смазывают ежедневно 2-3 раза в день слизистую оболочку носа в период подъема и максимального развития эпидемической вспышки гриппа (на протяжении 25 дней) или при контакте с больным гриппом.
Лечение вирусного ринита: полоской мази от 3 до 5 мм смазывают слизистую оболочку носа 2-3 раза в день в течение 3-4 дней.
Если после лечения улучшения не наступает или симптомы усугубляются, или появляются новые симптомы, необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом. Применяйте препарат только согласно тем показаниям, тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции.
Composition
Active ingredient:
dioxotetrahydroxytetrahydronaphthalene (oxolin) - 0.25 g.
Excipients:
liquid paraffin (mineral oil) - 0.50 g
vaseline - up to 100 g.
Homogeneous ointment from white to light yellow in color. A pink tint may appear during storage.

Вспомогательные вещества:
вазелиновое масло (парафин жидкий)- 0,50 г
вазелин- до 100 г.
Однородная мазь от белого до светло-желтого цвета. При хранении допускается появление розового оттенка.
Contraindications & warnings
Increased sensitivity to dioxotetrahydroxyterahydronaphthalene and other components of the preparation.

The use of the drug does not affect the performance of potentially hazardous activities that require special attention and quick reactions (dispatcher work, driving vehicles, operating moving machinery).

Side effects, overdose & interactions
Transient burning sensation of the nasal mucosa, rhinorrhea. In rare cases, blue discoloration of the nasal mucosa may occur.
If you experience any side effects listed in the instructions, or if they worsen, or if you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, inform your doctor.
No cases of overdose of the drug have been reported.
