How to use

The medication is administered rectally (inserted into the rectum) once a day, 5-15 minutes before the planned bowel movement. To remove the suppository from the blister pack, break off one cell containing the suppository at the perforation, and pull the edges of the strip apart. Insert the suppository into the rectum with the pointed end, as deeply as possible. For easier insertion of the suppository, it is recommended to bend over, squat, or lie on your side with your legs drawn up.
The single dose for adults is 50-100 mg per day; the maximum single dose is 300 mg; the maximum daily dose is 300 mg.
The duration of one treatment course with the medication is 14 days. Further treatment with the medication is only possible after consulting a doctor. If no improvement occurs after treatment, or if symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Use the medication only according to the indications, method of administration, and dosages specified in the instructions.

Препарат применяют ректально (вводят в прямую кишку) 1 раз в сутки за 5-15 мин до запланированного акта дефекации. Чтобы вынуть суппозиторий из ячейковой упаковки, необходимо отломить одну ячейку с суппозиторием по насечке и, разъединив края ленты, потянуть за них в разные стороны. Суппозиторий ввести в задний проход заостренным концом, по возможности глубоко. Для более удобного введения суппозитория рекомендуется нагнуться, присесть на корточки или лечь на бок, поджав ноги.
Разовая доза для взрослых - 50-100 мг в сутки; максимальная разовая доза - 300 мг; максимальная суточная доза - 300 мг.
Длительность одного курса лечения препаратом 14 дней. Дальнейшее лечение препаратом возможно только после консультации с врачом. Если после лечения улучшения не наступает или симптомы усугубляются, или появляются новые симптомы, необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом.
Применяйте препарат только согласно тем показаниям, тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции.

Composition

Composition per suppository:
Active component: Horse chestnut seed extract (dry horse chestnut extract), containing 20% of the total triterpene saponins calculated as escin, 50 mg or 100 mg.
Excipients - Glycerides of fatty acids (Witepsol H15, Hard fat Kernosol 35) 0.95 g or 0.90 g.

Suppositories ranging in color from light brown to brown, torpedo-shaped. Dark brown specks are permissible on the surface and in the cross-section of the suppositories.

Contraindications & warnings

Hypersensitivity, intestinal obstruction, acute inflammatory diseases of the abdominal organs, acute hemorrhoids, acute proctitis and paraproctitis, spastic constipation, tumors and fissures of the rectum, severe dehydration, age under 18 years (due to insufficient clinical data).

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding:
The use of the medication during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child. Consultation with a physician is necessary.
If symptoms persist without improvement for more than 2 weeks or worsen, a physician should be consulted.
Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery:
The use of the medication does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities that require increased attention and quick psychomotor responses (driving vehicles, operating moving machinery, dispatcher and operator work).

Side effects, overdose & interactions

In some cases, allergic reactions and a brief burning sensation in the rectum may occur. If you experience any side effects listed in the instructions, or if they worsen, or if you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, inform your doctor.

The symptom of overdose is frequent watery stools. In this case, the use of the medication should be discontinued.
