How to use
About 6 g (1 tablespoon) of marshmallow roots are placed in an enamel container, poured with 200 ml (1 cup) of cooled boiled water, covered with a lid, and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, then cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, strained, and the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting infusion is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
The infusion is taken orally 3-4 times a day after meals: adults and children over 14 years - 1/2-1/3 cup; children aged 6 to 14 years - 1-2 tablespoons; children aged 3 to 6 years - 1 dessert spoon. The treatment course lasts 2-3 weeks. Repeated courses are possible upon doctor's recommendation.
Before use, it is recommended to shake the infusion.
If there is no improvement after treatment, or if symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor. Use the product only according to the indications, method of use, and dosages specified in the instructions.

Около 6 г (1 столовая ложка) корней алтея помещают в эмалированную посуду, заливают 200 мл (1 стакан) охлажденной кипяченой воды, закрывают крышкой и нагревают на кипящей водяной бане 15 минут, охлаждают при комнатной температуре 45 минут, процеживают, оставшееся сырье отжимают. Объем полученного настоя доводят кипяченой водой до 200 мл.
Настой принимают внутрь 3-4 раза в день после еды: взрослые и дети старше 14 лет - по 1/2-1/3 стакана, дети от 6 до 14 лет - по 1-2 столовые ложки, дети от 3 до 6 лет - по 1 десертной ложке. Курс лечения 2-3 недели. Повторные курсы возможны по рекомендации врача.
Перед применением настой рекомендуется взбалтывать.
Если после лечения улучшения не наступает или симптомы усугубляются, или появляются новые симптомы, необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом. Применяйте препарат только согласно тем показаниям, тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции.

Roots of marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) and Armenian marshmallow (Althaea rosea).
Pieces of roots of various shapes. Color white, yellowish-white, or grayish-white.
The smell is weak and peculiar. The taste of the aqueous extract is sweetish with a mucilaginous sensation.
