How to use
For oral use, children under 12 years: 1 teaspoon of syrup, previously diluted in 1/4 cup of warm water, 4-5 times a day after meals; children over 12 years and adults: 1 tablespoon of syrup, previously diluted in 1/2 cup of water, 4-5 times a day after meals.
The treatment course is 10-15 days. Extension of the duration and conducting repeated treatment courses is possible after consultation with a doctor.
If there is no improvement after treatment, or if symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Use the medication only according to the indications, method of use, and dosages specified in the instructions.

Внутрь, детям до 12 лет – по 1 чайной ложке сиропа, предварительно разведенной в 1/4 стакана теплой воды, 4-5 раз в день после еды; детям старше 12 лет и взрослым: по 1 столовой ложке сиропа, предварительно разведенной в 1/2 стакана воды, 4-5 раз в день после еды.
Курс лечения 10-15 дней. Увеличение продолжительности и проведение повторных курсов лечения возможно после согласования с врачом.
Если после лечения улучшения не наступает или симптомы усугубляются, или появляются новые симптомы, необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом.
Применяйте препарат только согласно тем показаниям, тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции.

Contraindications & warnings
Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug, congenital fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, sucrose/isomaltase deficiency.
With caution
Patients with diabetes mellitus and individuals on a low-carbohydrate diet.
If you have any of the listed conditions, consult your doctor before taking the medication.
Information for patients with diabetes: the carbohydrate content in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of the product corresponds to 0.35 XE, in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) – 1.4 XE.
If symptoms persist without improvement for more than 2 weeks or worsen, consult a doctor.
Patients with diabetes and individuals on a low-carbohydrate diet should consult a doctor before using the product.
The product contains sucrose. Patients with rare hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency should not take this product.

Пациентам с сахарным диабетом и лицам, находящимся на диете с пониженным содер-жанием углеводов.

Side effects, overdose & interactions
Allergic reactions may occur.
If any of the side effects listed in the instructions worsen, or if you notice any other side effects not mentioned in the instructions, inform your doctor.
To date, no cases of overdose have been reported.
Do not use simultaneously with medications containing codeine and other antitussive agents, as this complicates the expectoration of liquefied mucus.
If you are using the above-mentioned or other medications (including over-the-counter), consult your doctor before using Althea syrup.
