Berberine bisulfate (barberry alkaloid) - 5 mg
Excipients - up to the tablet weight [milk sugar (lactose), potato starch, talc, calcium stearate] of 100 mg
Flat-cylindrical tablets with a bevel, yellow in color with small, lighter speckles.

Вспомогательных веществ - до получения таблетки [сахар молочный (лактоза), крахмал картофельный, тальк, кальция стеарат] массой 100 мг

Pharmacology
The drug has choleretic and antispasmodic effects, reduces the tone of the gallbladder musculature, decreases the amplitude of its contractions, and promotes bile secretion. Upon administration of Berberine, there is an increase in bile secretion, a reduction in its viscosity, and normalization of the biochemical composition of bile.

Препарат оказывает желчегонное и спазмолитическое действие, понижает тонус мускулатуры желчного пузыря, уменьшает амплитуду его сокращений, способствует желчеотделению. При приеме Берберина наблюдается увеличение секреции желчи, уменьшение ее вязкости, нормализуется биохимический состав желчи.
