How to use
Intramuscularly, 1 ml every other day. If well tolerated, the dose is increased to 2 ml starting from the 4th injection. The treatment course consists of 25-30 injections.
If necessary, a repeat treatment course may be conducted after 6 months. The duration of repeat treatment courses is determined by the physician.
To form a bone callus, the treatment course lasts 3-4 weeks (10-14 injections every other day).

Внутримышечно, по 1 мл через день. При хорошей переносимости дозу увеличивают до 2 мл, начиная с 4-ой инъекции. Курс лечения 25-30 инъекций.
При необходимости через 6 месяцев возможно проведение повторного курса лечения. Продолжительность повторных курсов лечения устанавливается врачом.
Для формирования костной мозоли курс лечения составляет 3-4 недели (10-14 инъекций через день).

Contraindications & warnings
• Hypersensitivity to the drug;
• Age under 18 years (efficacy and safety not established);
• Bleeding and tendency to bleed;
• Thrombophlebitis;
• Pregnancy, breastfeeding period (efficacy and safety not established).
With caution:
Simultaneous use of the drug with indirect anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, fibrinolytics.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Pregnancy
The use of the drug during pregnancy is contraindicated.
Breastfeeding period
If the drug is used during breastfeeding, breastfeeding should be discontinued.
When used in conjunction with indirect anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, and fibrinolytics, more frequent monitoring of blood coagulation parameters is required.
In case of allergic reactions or the appearance of hemorrhages, treatment should be discontinued.
Use in pediatrics
Data on the efficacy and safety of chondroitin sulfate in children is currently unavailable.

Pharmacology
Chondroitin sulfate has chondroprotective, cartilage tissue regeneration-stimulating, and anti-inflammatory effects. It participates in the construction of the fundamental substance of cartilage and bone tissue, improves phosphorus-calcium metabolism in cartilage tissue, inhibits enzymes that disrupt the structure and function of articular cartilage, and slows down the degeneration processes of cartilage tissue. It stimulates the synthesis of proteoglycans, normalizes the metabolism of hyaline cartilage, and promotes the regeneration of cartilage surfaces and the joint capsule. It prevents the compression of connective tissue, increases the production of synovial fluid and the mobility of affected joints, and reduces associated inflammation and pain.
In cases of degenerative changes in cartilage tissue, it serves as a means of replacement therapy. A positive effect is observed within 2-3 weeks after the start of the drug administration. The therapeutic effect lasts for a long time (3-6 months) after the completion of the treatment course.
After intramuscular administration, CHONDROITIN-APEX is rapidly distributed. Significant concentrations are detected in the blood within 30 minutes post-injection.
The maximum concentration (Cmax) of the drug in plasma is reached after 1 hour, then gradually decreases over 2 days.
Chondroitin sulfate accumulates primarily in the cartilage tissue of the joints. The synovial membrane does not pose a barrier to the drug's penetration into the joint cavity. Experiments have shown that 15 minutes after intramuscular injection, the drug is found in the synovial fluid, then penetrates into the articular cartilage, where its Cmax is reached after 48 hours.
Excreted by the kidneys.

Хондроитина сульфат обладает хондропротективным, стимулирующим регенерацию хрящевой ткани, противовоспалительным действием. Участвует в построении основного вещества хрящевой и костной ткани, улучшает фосфорно-кальциевый обмен в хрящевой ткани, ингибирует ферменты, нарушающие структуру и функции суставного хряща, тормозит процессы дегенерации хрящевой ткани. Стимулирует синтез протеогликанов, нормализует метаболизм гиалинового хряща, способствует регенерации хрящевых поверхностей и суставной сумки. Предупреждает компрессию соединительной ткани, увеличивает продукцию синовиальной жидкости и подвижность пораженных суставов, уменьшает сопутствующее воспаление, болезненность.
При дегенеративных изменениях хрящевой ткани является средством заместительной терапии. Положительный эффект наблюдается уже через 2-3 недели после начала введения препарата. Терапевтический эффект сохраняется длительное время (3-6 месяцев) после окончания курса лечения.
После внутримышечного введения ХОНДРОИТИН-АПЕКС быстро распределяется. Уже через 30 мин после инъекции он обнаруживается в крови в значительных концентрациях.
Максимальная концентрация (Сmах) препарата в плазме достигается через 1 час, затем постепенно снижается в течение 2 суток.
Хондроитина сульфат накапливается, главным образом, в хрящевой ткани суставов. Синовиальная оболочка не является препятствием для проникновения препарата в полость сустава. В экспериментах показано, что через 15 мин после внутримышечной инъекции препарата обнаруживается в синовиальной жидкости, затем проникает в суставной хрящ, где его Сmах достигается через 48 ч.
Выводится почками.
