COENZYME Q10 100MG - Dietary supplement - Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) - a coenzyme, an organic natural compound necessary for metabolic reactions in the body's cells.

The main function of coenzyme Q10 is participation in the process of cellular energy production, stored by the body in the mitochondria of cells in the form of ATP (Adenosine triphosphate). In addition, Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant that slows down free radical processes [1, 2]. Coenzyme Q10 is necessary for the normal functioning of the body's cells, especially for cells with a high level of energy metabolism. The highest concentration of coenzyme Q10 is observed in the tissues of the heart muscle and liver. Coenzyme Q10 is synthesized in the body. Successful biosynthesis requires adequate intake of vitamins B1, B2, B3, C, folic acid, pantothenic acid, and the normal functioning of at least 12 genes. A deficiency of vitamins, gene mutations, age-related changes, medication intake, and other disorders can lead to a deficiency of coenzyme Q10, which in turn can cause disruptions in the functioning of the cardiovascular, muscular, nervous, and immune systems, accelerate the aging processes of the body, and lead to conditions such as chronic fatigue and depression.
Coenzyme Q10 contributes to:

• the formation of energy for the functioning of the brain, heart, liver, nervous, and muscular systems;

• antioxidant protection of the body and protection against free radicals [3, 4], [7], including the reduction of hypoxic damage (tissue damage caused by lack of oxygen);

• maintaining the functional state of the cardiovascular system;

• reducing the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases [3, 4];

• reducing side effects when taking statins;

• normalizing elevated blood pressure;

• strengthening the immune system;

• preserving beauty and youth, slowing down the aging processes of the body [5, 6];

Основная функция коэнзима Q10 - участие в процессе выработки клеточной энергии, запасаемой организмом в митохондриях клеток в виде АТФ (Аденозинтрифосфата). Помимо этого Коэнзим Q10 является мощным антиоксидантом, замедляющим свободно-радикальные процессы [1, 2]. Кофермент Q10 необходим для нормальной жизнедеятельности клеток организма и, особенно, для функционирования клеток с высоким уровнем энергетического обмена. Наибольшая концентрация кофермента Q10 наблюдается в тканях сердечной мышцы и печени. Коэнзим Q10 синтезируется в организме. Для успешного биосинтеза требуется достаточное поступление с пищей витаминов В1, В2, В3, С, фолиевой, пантотеновой кислоты и нормальное функционирование по крайней мере 12 генов. Недостаток витаминов, мутация генов, возрастные изменения, приём лекарственных препаратов, иные нарушения могут приводить к недостатку кофермента Q10, что в свою очередь, может явиться причиной нарушений в работе сердечно-сосудистой, мышечной, нервной, иммунной систем, ускорить процессы старения организма, приводить к таким состояниям как, хроническая усталость, депрессия.
