How to use
Before measuring glucose, prepare the glucometer, lancets, and test strips.
Before the analysis, wash your hands thoroughly and dry them.
The blood sampling and operation of the Contour glucometer occur in the following sequence:
1) Insert the lancet into the lancing device according to the instructions. For detailed instructions on preparing the lancing device, see the insert with your lancing device.
2) Remove a test strip from the tube, insert it into the glucometer, and wait for the sound signal. A symbol with a flashing strip and a drop of blood should appear on the screen.
3) Firmly press the lancing device against the puncture site and press the button.
4) Apply pressure to the finger towards the puncture site until a drop of blood appears. Do not squeeze the puncture site.
5) Hold the glucometer in a vertical position and touch the tip of the test strip to the drop of blood, waiting for the test strip to fill (a signal will sound).
6) After the signal, a reverse five-second countdown will begin, and the result will appear on the screen. The result is automatically saved in the device's memory.
To turn off the device, carefully remove the test strip.

Перед проведением измерения глюкозы необходимо подготовить глюкометр, ланцеты, тест-полоски.
Перед анализом нужно тщательно вымыть руки и насухо их вытереть.
Взятие крови и работа с глюкометром Контур происходит в следующей последовательности:
1) В прокалыватель по инструкции вставьте ланцет. Подробные инструкции по подготовке прокалывателя см. во вкладыше к вашему прокалывателю.
2) Из тубуса извлеките тест-полоску, вставьте ее в глюкометр и дождитесь звукового сигнала. На экране должен появиться символ с мигающей полоской и каплей крови.
3) Плотно прижмите прокалыватель к месту прокола и нажмите на кнопку.
4) Надавите на палец в направлении места прокола до появления капли крови. Не сдавливайте место прокола.
5) Поднесите глюкометр в вертикальном положении и прикоснитесь кончиком тест-полоски к капле крови, дождитесь заполнения тест-полоски (прозвучит сигнал).
6) После сигнала начнется обратный пятисекундный отсчет и на экране появится результат. В памяти устройства результат сохраняется автоматически.
Для выключения устройства необходимо аккуратно вынуть тест-полоску.
Contraindications & warnings
It is important to remember that the test strips used with the Contour Glucometer are also called - Contour test strips; other test strips are not suitable for the glucometer.
Test strips are not included with the Contour Glucometer and must be purchased separately.
The lancing device is not included with the Contour Glucometer and must be purchased separately.
The expiration date of the test strips does not depend on the date of opening the package.
The device emits a single beep when the test strip is inserted and filled with blood. A double beep indicates an error. Lancets and test strips are intended for individual use and pose a biological hazard. Therefore, they must be disposed of as described in the device instructions.

Необходимо помнить, что тест-полоски, которые используются с Глюкометром Контур, также называются - тест-полоски Контур, другие тест-полоски к глюкометру не подходят.
Тест-полоски не входят в набор с Глюкометром Контур и приобретаются отдельно.
Устройство для прокалывания не входит в набор с Глюкометром Контур и приобретаются отдельно.
Срок годности тест-полосок не зависит от даты вскрытия упаковки.
Прибор подает один звуковой сигнал при введении тест-полоски и заполнении ее кровью. Двойной сигнал означает ошибку. Ланцеты, тест-полоски предназначены для индивидуального использования и представляют биологическую опасность. Поэтому должны утилизироваться, как описано в инструкции к прибору.
