How to use
About 10 g (1 tablespoon) of the fruit is placed in an enamel container, poured with 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, covered with a lid, and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, then cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, strained, and the remaining raw material is squeezed.
The volume of the resulting infusion is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
The infusion is taken orally while warm 3 - 4 times a day after meals: adults and children over 12 years - 1/3 cup; children aged 7 to 12 years - 1-2 tablespoons; children aged 3 to 6 years - 1 tablespoon; children under 3 years - 1/2 - 1 teaspoon.
Before use, it is recommended to shake the infusion.

Около 10 г (1 столовая ложка) плодов помещают в эмалированную посуду, заливают 200 мл (1 стакан) кипятка, закрывают крышкой и нагревают на кипящей водяной бане 15 минут, охлаждают при комнатной температуре 45 минут, процеживают, оставшееся сырье отжимают.
Объем полученного настоя доводят кипяченой водой до 200 мл.
Настой принимают внутрь в теплом виде 3 - 4 раза в сутки после еды: взрослые и дети старше 12 лет - по 1/3 стакана; дети от 7 до 12 лет - по 1-2 столовые ложки; дети от 3 до 6 лет - по 1 столовой ложке; дети до 3-х лет - по 1/2 -1 чайной ложке.
Перед применением настой рекомендуется взбалтывать.
Composition
Caraway fruits (Carvi fructus)
Fruit - a schizocarp consisting of two mericarps, often breaking apart. The mericarp is elongated, often more or less crescent-shaped, compressed laterally, slightly narrowed towards the apex, with a persistent disk and remnants of the style. The outer side of the mericarp is convex, while the inner side is flat. Each mericarp has five strongly prominent longitudinal ridges: three on the convex side and two on the sides. Each mericarp contains one seed fused with the pericarp. The length of the fruits is 3-7 mm, and the width is 1-1.5 mm. The color of the fruits is dark brown with thin light stripes on the ridges. The smell is strong and aromatic. The taste of the aqueous extract is pungent, slightly bitter, and spicy.

Тмина плоды (Carvi fructus)
Плод-вислоплодник, состоящий из двух полуплодиков (мерикарпиев) чаще распавшийся. Мерикарпий продолговатой формы, часто более или менее серповидноизогнутый, сжатый с боков, к верхушке слегка суженый, с надпестичным диском и остатком столбика. Наружная сторона мерикарпия выпуклая, внутренняя плоская. Каждый мерикарпий имеет пять сильно выступающих продольных ребрышек: три из них находятся на выпуклой стороне, два по бокам. В мерикарпии одно семя, сросшееся с околоплодником. Длина плодов 3-7 мм, ширина 1-1,5 мм. Цвет плодов темно-коричневый с тонкими светлыми полосками на ребрах. Запах сильный, ароматный. Вкус водного извлечения жгучий, горьковатый, пряный.
