Indications

Symptomatic therapy for acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by dry cough or cough with difficult-to-expectorate sputum (pharyngitis, laryngitis, including "lecturer's," tracheitis, bronchitis).

Method of application and doses

For children: from 3 to 5 years old, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day; from 6 to 14 years old, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon (2.5 to 5.0 ml) 3 times a day.

For adults and children over 14 years old: 5.0 to 10.0 ml 3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 2 to 3 weeks. Extension of the duration and conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible upon the recommendation of a doctor.

Contraindications

Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug, deficiency of sucrase/isomaltase, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, childhood (up to 3 years).

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Due to the lack of experience in use among pregnant and breastfeeding women, the prescription of the drug to this group is not recommended.

Special instructions

If the symptoms of the disease persist or worsen, it is necessary to stop using the medication and consult a doctor. The medication contains sucrose, which should be taken into account by patients with diabetes, as well as individuals on a low-calorie diet. One single dose for adults (5.0-10.0 ml) contains 3.75-7.50 g of sucrose, which corresponds to 0.31-0.62 XE. The medication should be stored out of reach of children. In case of accidental or intentional ingestion of the medication by a child, seek medical help immediately. If the medication has become unusable or has expired, do not dispose of it in wastewater or on the street! Place the medication in a bag and put it in the trash container. These measures will help protect the environment!

Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery The medication does not affect the ability to perform potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention and quick psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles, working with moving machinery, dispatcher and operator work).

Interaction
