Indications

Symptomatic treatment of constipation of various etiologies when the use of oral laxatives is not possible.
Prevention of constipation in patients who cannot strain during defecation: painful thrombosed hemorrhoids, anal fissures or perianal abscess, anorectal stenosis; after myocardial infarction, after childbirth; before and after surgical procedures on the rectum, before instrumental and radiological examination of the rectum.

Симптоматическое лечение запоров различной этиологии, когда применение пероральных слабительных препаратов невозможно.
Профилактика запоров у пациентов, которые не могут напрягаться при дефекации: болезненный тромбированный геморрой, трещины заднего прохода или перианальный абсцесс, аноректальный стеноз; после перенесенного инфаркта миокарда, после родов; перед и после хирургических операций на прямой кишке, перед инструментальным и рентгенологическим исследованием прямой кишки.

How to use

Rectally.
Insert the medication into the rectum and retain it for at least 5 minutes. Defecation usually occurs 5-10 minutes after administration of the medication. Residual suppository material is expelled from the intestines with stool.
For children aged 5 to 12 years, administer 1 suppository containing 1.24 g of glycerol once daily.
Before and after using the suppositories, wash hands thoroughly.
Do not use the medication for more than 7 days.
If there is no improvement after treatment, or if symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, consult a physician. Use the medication only according to the indications, method of administration, and dosages specified in the instructions for use.

Вводят препарат в прямую кишку и оставляют там не менее 5 минут. Обычно дефекация происходит через 5-10 минут после введения препарата. Остатки суппозитория выводятся из кишечника с калом.
Детям с 5 лет до 12 лет назначают по 1 суппозиторию, содержащему 1,24 г глицерола, 1 раз в сутки.
Перед и после применения суппозиториев необходимо тщательно вымыть руки.
Не следует применять препарат более 7 дней.
Если после лечения улучшения не наступает или симптомы усугубляются, или появляются новые симптомы, необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом. Применяйте препарат только согласно тем показаниям, тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции по применению.

Composition

One suppository contains:
Active ingredient: glycerol (calculated as 100% substance) 1.24 g.
Excipients: sodium stearate 0.10 g, purified water 0.20 g.

Suppositories are transparent or translucent, nearly colorless or with a yellowish-brown tint, with a greasy surface, hygroscopic, and torpedo-shaped. Cloudiness of the suppository, slight softening of the surface layer, and sweating of the contour packaging are permissible. The presence of an air core is allowed in the cross-section.

Действующее вещество: глицерол (в пересчете на 100 % вещество) 1,24 г.
Вспомогательные вещества: натрия стеарат 0,10 г, вода очищенная 0,20 г.

Суппозитории прозрачные или полупрозрачные, почти бесцветные или с желтовато-коричневым оттенком цвета, с мажущейся поверхностью, гигроскопичные, торпедообразной формы. Допускается помутнение суппозитория, незначительное размягчение поверхностного слоя и подпотевание контурной упаковки. На срезе допускается наличие воздушного стержня.

Contraindications & warnings

Increased sensitivity to glycerol or any of the components of the product.
Irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, bleeding, diarrhea, hemorrhoids in the acute stage, anal fissures, inflammatory diseases and tumors of the rectum, undiagnosed abdominal pain, hemorrhagic rectocolitis, pregnancy, children under 5 years of age.
With caution
Renal insufficiency, breastfeeding period.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Pregnancy
Use of the product is contraindicated during pregnancy due to the possible reflex stimulation of the uterus.
Breastfeeding period
It is unknown whether glycerol passes into breast milk; therefore, the use of the product during breastfeeding is only possible if, in the physician's opinion, the expected benefits to the mother outweigh the potential risks to the fetus.

Systematic use is not recommended. Treatment should be discontinued after normal intestinal peristalsis is restored.
Do not lubricate the suppositories with mineral liquid or solid oils.

Повышенная чувствительность к глицеролу или любому из компонентов препарата.
Синдром раздраженного кишечника, кишечная непроходимость, аппендицит, кровотечение, диарея, геморрой в стадии обострения, трещины заднего прохода, воспалительные заболевания и опухоли прямой кишки, недиагностированная боль в животе, геморрагический ректоколит, беременность, детский возраст до 5 лет.

При беременности применение препарата противопоказано из-за возможной рефлекторной стимуляции матки.

Неизвестно, проникает ли глицерол в грудное молоко, поэтому в период грудного вскармливания применение препарата возможно только в том случае, если, по мнению врача, ожидаемая польза для матери превышает потенциальный риск для плода.

Систематический прием не рекомендуется. Лечение прекращают после восстановления нормальной перистальтики кишечника.
Не смазывать суппозитории минеральными жидкими или твердыми маслами.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

Allergic reactions; local reactions (itching, burning in the anal area); occurrence of spasmodic pain in the intestinal area.
With prolonged use, irritation of the rectum and weakening of the physiological process of defecation may occur.
If any of the side effects listed in the instructions worsen, or if you notice any other side effects not mentioned in the instructions, inform your doctor.

Symptoms: frequent watery stools.
Treatment: discontinuation of the medication, symptomatic treatment.
