Indications

The dressing is indicated for the treatment of dry, lightly and moderately exuding wounds.
It is especially suitable for the treatment of chronic and poorly healing wounds in the cleansing and granulation stages.

Method of application and dosages

∙ apply the dressing with the white side on the wound so that the blue inscription is on top
∙ the dressing should adhere to the bottom of the wound and slightly cover its edges
∙ the dressing should be secured with suitable materials, such as fixation dressings, adhesive plasters, bandages, etc.
∙ the frequency of dressing changes depends on the type of wound and the recommendations of the attending physician
∙ the wound dressing can remain in place for up to three days
∙ if the pad does not separate easily from the wound, it can be moistened with saline or Ringer's solution before removal.

Composition

Sterile dressing. The main part contains superabsorbent polyacrylate (SAP) embedded in cellulose fibers and pre-soaked with Ringer's solution. The wound dressing is covered with polypropylene knitted fabric.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the materials used in the manufacture of the product.

Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 °C to +30 °C and relative humidity up to 65 %.

FUNCTIONS OF THE DRESSING:
• The release of Ringer's solution and absorption of exudate contribute to the active washing of the wound.
• Removes fibrin and dry necrotic tissue, stimulates the formation of granulation tissue through the irrigation of the wound with Ringer's solution.
• Exudate is absorbed, and bacteria are effectively trapped in the dressing pad, significantly reducing bacterial load and biofilm formation.
• The moisture of Ringer's solution promotes the healing process.
• The dressing provides a moist physiological environment that facilitates autolytic (self) cleansing of the wound.

HydroClean is a hydroactive wound dressing for treating wounds in a moist environment.
• The main part contains superabsorbent polyacrylate (SAP) embedded in cellulose fibers and pre-soaked with Ringer's solution.
• Silicone strips are attached to the layer in contact with the wound, preventing the dressing from sticking to the wound bed.
• The waterproof polypropylene film on the outer side of the dressing is covered with a hydrophobic nonwoven material, preventing premature drying of the dressing on the wound.
This ensures the moistening of the wound bed for a period of up to three days, while the polypropylene film prevents the outer surface of the dressing from getting wet.
