How to use

For external use. Adults and children aged 12 years and older should apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin 1-2 times a day. A dressing may be used if necessary. The duration of the treatment course and the specifics of the treatment regimen (for both children and adults) should be agreed upon with a physician. Use the medication only according to the indications, method of application, and dosages specified in the instructions. If necessary, please consult a physician before using the medication.

Наружно. Взрослым и детям с 12 лет наносят тонким слоем на пораженные участки кожи 1-2 раза в день. При необходимости используют повязку. The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible if the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the possible risk to the fetus or child. Consult a doctor if necessary.

The ointment is intended for external use only and is not recommended for application on open wounds. Avoid contact of the ointment with mucous membranes and eyes. After applying the ointment, it is necessary to thoroughly wash hands to prevent the ointment from getting into the eyes, nose, or mouth.

Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
The use of the product does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities that require increased attention and quick psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles, working with moving machinery).

Side effects, overdose & interactions

Local allergic reactions may occur. If side effects worsen, or if you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, inform your doctor.

When using the medication according to the instructions for use, overdose is unlikely. In case of excessive use of the medication, skin irritation may occur.
Treatment - symptomatic.

Incompatible with iodine salt solutions, alkaloids, heavy metal salts, zinc oxide. Dimethyl sulfoxide, ethanol, glycerol, when applied simultaneously with ichthammol, enhance its systemic absorption and increase its penetration depth into soft tissues.
If you are using the above-mentioned or other medications (including over-the-counter) consult your doctor before using the product.

Не совместим с растворами солей йода, алкалоидами, солями тяжелых металлов, оксидом цинка. Диметилсульфоксид, этанол, глицерол при одновременной аппликации с ихтаммолом усиливают его системную абсорбцию и увеличивают глубину его проникновения в мягкие ткани

Anti-inflammatory agent, exhibits antimicrobial (bactericidal against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes), keratoplastic action. Upon direct application to the skin, it causes mild irritation of sensitive nerve endings, which is followed by a decrease in their sensitivity, leading to the emergence of reflexes that alter tissue trophism. Causes denaturation of protein molecules. Accelerates the maturation of boils.

Противовоспалительное средство, оказывает противомикробное (бактерицидное в отношении Staphylococcus aureus и Streptococcus pyogenes), кератопластическое действие. При непосредственном действии на кожу вызывает слабое раздражение чувствительных нервных окончаний, сменяющееся снижением их чувствительности, что приводит к возникновению рефлексов, изменяющих трофику тканей. Вызывает денатурацию белковых молекул. Ускоряет созревание фурункулов.

The active ingredient ichthammol (ichthyol) has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and local anesthetic effects.
