Iod-Active 80 tablets

"Iod-Active" - an additional source of iodine, recommended for:
to overcome iodine deficiency;
for the prevention of diseases related to iodine deficiency;
to normalize thyroid function.

For children aged 5 years and older and adults:
1-2 tablets once a day with meals. Duration of intake is 1 month. If necessary, the intake can be repeated.
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Council for the Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorders recommend the following levels of daily iodine intake:
50 mcg - for infants (up to 1 year);
90 mcg - for young children (up to 7 years);
120 mcg - for children aged 7 to 12 years;
150 mcg - for adults (aged 12 years and older);
200 mcg - for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
To achieve a sustainable result, regular daily intake of iodine is recommended.
When taking IOD-ACTIVE, it should be noted that according to Russian studies, iodine intake from food is 40 mcg per day.

To address the problem of iodine deficiency, the Medical Radiological Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (Obninsk) has developed the product "Iod-Active," recommended as an additional source of iodine. "Iod-Active" is based on a unique long-term experience in the treatment and prevention of thyroid diseases, including after the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster.

The tablets "Iod-Active" contain well-absorbed organic iodine, which scientists have incorporated into a milk protein molecule. The idea of combining iodine with milk to enhance health was proposed by the Russian scientist and clergyman Father Pavel Florensky. This is analogous to the natural iodine compound that we begin to receive with the first drops of breast milk.

The uniqueness of "Iod-Active" tablets lies in the fact that it is "smart iodine": in cases of iodine deficiency, it is actively absorbed, while in cases of excess, it is excreted from the body without entering the thyroid gland. This occurs because iodine is cleaved from the milk protein under the action of liver enzymes, which are produced in response to iodine deficiency. When there is sufficient iodine in the body, enzymes are not produced, and "Iod-Active" is excreted naturally without being absorbed into the bloodstream.

Nutritional value of the daily dose of 1-2 tablets, iodine content - 50-100 mcg (% of the recommended daily intake): children aged 5 to 7 years - 50-100%; children aged 7 to 11 years - 42-84%; children aged 11 to 14 years - 39-77%; children aged 14 years and adults - 33-67%.

Iod Active is a dietary supplement (BAA) that contains iodocasein (iodine embedded in the molecule of milk protein), necessary for maintaining thyroid health. It is available in tablet form.
