Kamistad gel 10 g

Pain syndrome due to inflammation of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and lips (in stomatitis, cheilitis, glossoerythema of the lips), gingivitis (inflammation of the gums), irritation of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity when wearing dental prostheses and braces, teething of "wisdom" teeth, dental procedures, after orthopedic surgeries in maxillofacial surgery.

Locally. A strip of the medication 0.5 cm in length is applied to painful or inflamed areas of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and lips 3 times a day, gently massaging it in. During the adaptation period to dental prostheses, a strip of gel 0.5 cm in length should be rubbed into the pressure points. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the condition.

Composition per 1 g: active ingredients: lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate - 20.0 mg, chamomile flower extract (1:4-5) (extracting agent - 50% ethanol (v/v) with trometamol 1.37%) - 185.0 mg; excipients: benzalkonium chloride 50% solution, camphor oil, sodium saccharin, carbomer, trometamol, formic acid 98%, ethanol 96%, purified water.

Gel for topical use, yellow-brown in color.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation period, pediatric age (up to 12 years).

Avoid contact of the product with the eyes. It is recommended to wash hands before and after using the gel. Kamistad® contains the sweetener sodium saccharin.

Allergic reactions are possible. If signs of allergy occur during the use of Kamistad®, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

No cases of overdose of the drug have been reported.

No cases of interaction or incompatibility with other medications have been described.

Combined preparation. Lidocaine exerts a local anesthetic effect, which contributes to the rapid and prolonged reduction of pain in inflammation and damage to the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and gums. Chamomile flower extract has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and regenerative properties.

Kamistad Gel 10 g is a topical medication that helps alleviate pain in the oral cavity. The gel contains the anesthetic lidocaine, which quickly numbs the affected areas of the mucous membrane, as well as the anti-inflammatory ingredient chamomile flower extract. Kamistad Gel is particularly effective in the treatment of aphthous stomatitis, herpes, or other infectious diseases of the oral cavity. The product is convenient to use and reliably protects painful areas of the mouth from various irritants. Kamistad can be used by both adults and children aged 12 and older.
