Cholesterol is both a friend and an enemy to the human body. Cholesterol is an essential substance for the proper development and normal functioning of organs and systems. However, if its concentration in the blood is too high, cholesterol becomes truly dangerous, exposing a person to a high risk of heart attack or stroke.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CHOLESTEROL
Cholesterol is found in all animal cells. It is a mandatory component of cell membranes, necessary for the production of hormones, including estrogen and testosterone, vitamin D, and bile acids. Only a small amount of cholesterol enters the human body through food. The majority - about 80% - is produced in the liver. In the body, cholesterol "moves" with the help of protein carriers, forming complexes known as lipoproteins. Typically, two types are used as markers: LDL (low-density lipoproteins or "bad" cholesterol) and HDL (high-density lipoproteins or "good" cholesterol). "Bad" cholesterol settles on the walls inside blood vessels and forms plaques. It is opposed by "good" cholesterol - an essential substance for the body. It removes "bad" cholesterol from the walls of blood vessels and returns it to the liver. Therefore, HDL has earned its status as "good," while LDL is considered "bad" cholesterol. The degree of risk of blood vessel damage by atherosclerotic plaques depends not so much on the total cholesterol level but on the ratio of LDL to HDL levels. It is important to understand that affected vessels can no longer function properly. The functions of the cells and organs they supply blood to are disrupted. If plaques form in the coronary vessels, the function of the heart muscle deteriorates. If in the body's vessels, the delivery of nutrients to muscles and organs suffers, and blood pressure begins to rise. If in the vessels of the head, brain function weakens, decision-making speed and memory deteriorate.
HOW VASCULAR HELPS PROTECT YOUR BLOOD VESSELS
The mechanism of action of the dietary supplement "VASCULAR Clean Vessels" is based on the action of three active components:
- Policosanol - a mixture of high molecular weight alcohols derived from sugar cane. Policosanol acts as a "natural statin," reducing cholesterol production in the liver and normalizing the lipid profile: it lowers the level of "bad" cholesterol while simultaneously increasing the level of "good."
- Selenium - one of the four strongest antioxidants. Selenium prevents "bad" cholesterol from oxidizing. This means that less is deposited as plaques on the walls of blood vessels.
- Vitamin K2 - a unique calcium metabolism corrector. Vitamin K2 prevents calcium deposition in cholesterol plaques, preventing calcification of these plaques and irreversible thickening of blood vessels.

Холестерин является важнейшим веществом для правильного развития и нормальной работы органов и систем.
Однако, если его концентрация в крови слишком высока, холестерин становится по-настоящему опасным, подвергая человека высокому риску развития инфаркта или инсульта.
ЧТО НУЖНО ЗНАТЬ О ХОЛЕСТЕРИНЕ
Холестерин содержится во всех животных клетках.
Он является обязательным компонентом клеточных мембран, необходим для производства гормонов, в т.ч. эстрогена и тестостерона, витамина D, желчных кислот.
С пищей в организм человека поступает лишь незначительное количество холестерина.
Большая часть - около 80% - вырабатывается в печени.
В организме холестерин «передвигается» с помощью белковых носителей, образуя комплексы, которые носят название липопротеины.
Обычно, в качестве маркеров используется два типа: ЛПНП (липопротеины низкой плотности или «плохой» холестерин) и ЛПВП (липопротеины высокой плотности или «хороший» холестерин).
«Плохой» холестерин оседает на стенках внутри сосудов и образует бляшки.
Противостоит ему «хороший» холестерин - незаменимое для организма вещество.
Он удаляет «плохой» холестерин со стенок сосудов и возвращает его в печень.
Поэтому ЛПВП и получили свой статус «хорошего», а ЛПНП - «плохого» холестерина.
Cтепень риска поражения кровеносных сосудов атеросклеротическими бляшками зависит не столько от общего уровня холестерина, сколько от соотношения уровней ЛПНП и ЛПВП.
Важно понимать, что пораженные сосуды уже не могут полноценно функционировать.
Нарушаются функции клеток и органов, которым они поставляют кровь.
Если бляшки сформировались в коронарных сосудах, то ухудшается работа сердечной мышцы.
Если в сосудах тела, то страдает доставка питательных веществ к мышцам и органам, начинает расти артериальное давление.
Если в сосудах головы, то ослабевает работа мозга, ухудшается скорость принятия решений и память.
