Indications

As a therapeutic and preventive agent for

• acute hepatitis A;

• acute and chronic hepatitis B and C;

• toxic hepatitis, including drug-induced;

• anorexia;

• alcoholic liver disease;

• pre-cirrhotic conditions;

• in the course of preventing hepatotoxicity of antibiotics, antitubercular drugs, antipyretics, contraceptives, and other hepatotoxic medications, prevention of anorexia during radiation and chemotherapy.

В качестве лечебно-профилактического средства при

• остром гепатите А;

• острых и хронических гепатитах В и С;

• токсических гепатитах, в т.ч. лекарственных;

• анорексии;

• алкогольной болезни печени;

• прецирротических состояниях;

• в курсе профилактики гепатотоксичности антибиотиков, противотуберкулезных, жаропонижающих препаратов, контрацептивов и других гепатотоксичных лекарственных средств, профилактика анорексии в курсе лучевой и химиотерапии.

How to use

Orally, 15-30 minutes before meals.
As a preventive measure: 2 tablets twice a day.
As a therapeutic measure:
children over 6 years: 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day;
adults: 2-3 tablets 2-3 times a day.
Use in specific diseases.
In acute viral hepatitis A, B, or C:
children from 6 years: 1 tablet 3 times a day;
adults: 2 tablets 3 times a day;
treatment course 2-3 months.
In chronic viral hepatitis B and C:
children from 6 years: 1 tablet 3 times a day;
adults: 2 tablets 3 times a day;
treatment course 6 months.
In anorexia:
children from 6 years: 1 tablet 3 times a day;
adults: 2 tablets 3 times a day.
Duration of the treatment course is 2 weeks. If necessary, the treatment course may be continued after a 2-week break.
As a hepatoprotective agent in the course of anti-tuberculosis therapy and when using other hepatotoxic medications, including for the prevention of anorexia during radiation and chemotherapy:
children from 6 years: 1 tablet twice a day;
adults: 2 tablets twice a day.
The medication is taken together with anti-tuberculosis medications and other chemotherapeutic agents, and the duration of treatment corresponds to the duration of chemotherapy.
In alcoholic liver disease:
2 tablets 3 times a day for 1 month, then 1 tablet 3 times a day for 6-12 months.

Применение при отдельных заболеваниях.
При острых вирусных гепатитах А, В или С:

Продолжительность курса терапии 2 недели. При необходимости курс терапии может быть продолжен после 2 недельного перерыва.
Как гепатопротекторное средство в курсе противотуберкулезной терапии и при применении других гепатотоксичных лекарственных препаратов, в т.ч. в целях профилактики анорексии в курсе лучевой и химиотерапии:
дети с 6 лет: по 1 таблетке 2 раза вдень;
взрослые: по 2 таблетки 2 раза в день.
Препарат принимают вместе с противотуберкулезными препаратами и другими химиопрепаратами, продолжительность курса лечения соответствует продолжительности курса химиотерапии.
При алкогольной болезни печени:
по 2 таблетки 3 раза в сутки в течение 1 месяца, затем по 1 таблетке 3 раза в сутки в течение 6-12 месяцев.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

Allergic reactions and dyspeptic disorders may occur; rarely - loose stools in patients with impaired digestion and absorption processes and/or a history of diarrhea.

Liv-52 reduces the concentration of ibuprofen in the blood, possibly due to delayed absorption.
The drug decreases the bioavailability of tetracycline and doxycycline.

Возможны аллергические реакции и диспепсические нарушения; редко - послабление стула у пациентов с нарушением процессов пищеварения и абсорбции и/или диареей в анамнезе.

Лив-52 снижает концентрацию ибупрофена крови, возможно благодаря замедлению всасывания.
Препарат снижает биодоступность тетрациклина и доксициклина.
