Medical nursing stethoscope, single-sided, model 04AM-300. The stethoscope is intended for auscultation of heart sounds during blood pressure measurement and initial patient examination.

EXAMINATION ALGORITHM (AUSCULTATION)
For accurate diagnosis, it is recommended to perform auscultation with the instrument previously used.

Diagnosis should preferably be conducted in a closed room, protected from external noise, where the air temperature is +21-25°C.
The cool head of the instrument is pre-warmed with the heat of the hand. During the procedure, the patient should expose their body up to the waist and stand in front of the physician.
If there is a dense hair covering on the patient's body, the areas to be examined are shaved and moistened with water before applying the diagnostic device.
The physician begins the diagnosis by firmly holding the head of the instrument with 2-3 fingers. Then, the circumference of the funnel or membrane is tightly applied to the body of the subject. For convenience, the physician may support the patient with one hand, placing it on the opposite side of the stethoscope.
If necessary, mode switching is performed, allowing the listening of sounds and noises of different frequencies. It is also important during auscultation to listen from several points (the number of listening points is determined based on the suspected diagnosis).
