How to use

Rectally: 1-2 suppositories 3-4 times a day; for children aged 8-15 years - 1 suppository per day. Before use, remove the suppository from the blister pack and insert it deeply into the rectum (after a cleansing enema or spontaneous bowel movement). The treatment course lasts from 7 days to 4 months, depending on the nature of the disease.

Ректально: по 1-2 суппозиторию 3-4 раза в сутки; детям 8-15 лет - по 1 суппозиторию в сутки. Предварительно освободив суппозиторий от контурной ячейковой упаковки, вводят глубоко в задний проход (после очистительной клизмы или самопроизвольного опорожнения кишечника). Курс лечения от 7 дней до 4 месяцев в зависимости от характера заболевания.

Suppository in a torpedo shape, white or white with a yellowish or creamy tint. The presence of an air core and a funnel-shaped indentation on the cut is permissible.

Суппозиторий торпедообразной формы белого или белого с желтоватым или кремоватым оттенком цвета. Допускается наличие на срезе воздушного стержня и воронкообразного углубления.

Contraindications & warnings

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; age under 8 years; acute and chronic leukemic forms of leukemia (especially myeloid); lymphogranulomatosis; malignant diseases of the bone marrow.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
No specific studies regarding the safety of using Methyluracil rectal suppositories in pregnant women and during breastfeeding have been conducted. The drug is used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child. If the drug is necessary during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
The drug does not affect the ability to drive or engage in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention and quick psychomotor reactions.

Гиперчувствительность к компонентам препарата, детский возраст до 8 лет, острые и хронические лейкемические формы лейкоза (особенно миелоидные), лимфогранулематоз, злокачественные заболевания костного мозга.

Применение при беременности и в период грудного вскармливания
Специальных исследований, касающихся безопасности применения препарата Метилурацил суппозитории ректальные у беременных и в период грудного вскармливания не проводилось.
Препарат применяют при беременности и в период грудного вскармливания только в случае, если предполагаемая польза для матери превышает потенциальный риск для плода или ребенка. В случае необходимости применения препарата в период лактации грудное вскармливание следует прекратить.

Влияние на способность к управлению транспортными средствами и механизмами
Препарат не влияет на способность управлять транспортом или заниматься другими потенциально опасными видами деятельности, требующих повышенной концентрации внимания и быстроты психомоторных реакций.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

Headache, dizziness, brief burning sensation in the rectal area, allergic reactions.

No cases of overdose of the drug have been reported.

No cases of interaction or incompatibility with other medications have been described. The concurrent use of the drug with other rectal preparations is not recommended.

Pharmacology

Has anabolic activity. Exhibits hematopoietic, leukopoietic, immunostimulatory, and anti-inflammatory effects. By normalizing nucleic acid metabolism, it accelerates cellular regeneration processes in wounds, promoting tissue growth and granulation maturation, as well as epithelialization (including in rapidly proliferating cells of the gastrointestinal mucosa); stimulates erythropoiesis and leukopoiesis, as well as cellular and humoral immune factors.

The drug is rapidly absorbed in the mucous membrane of the rectum and is detected in the systemic bloodstream within 30 minutes. The maximum concentration of the active substance in the blood plasma is observed 60-120 minutes after the administration of the suppository. It is excreted from the body through the kidneys and intestines.

Нормализуя нуклеиновый обмен, ускоряет процессы клеточной регенерации в ранах, ускоряя рост и грануляционное созревание ткани и эпителизацию (в т.ч. в быстропролиферирующих клетках слизистой оболочки ЖКТ), стимулирует эритро- и лейкопоэз, клеточные и гуморальные факторы иммунитета.

Препарат быстро абсорбируется в слизистой оболочке прямой кишки и обнаруживается в системном кровотоке через 30 минут. Максимальное содержание действующего вещества в плазме крови наблюдается спустя 60-120 минут после введения суппозитория. Выводится из организма через почки и кишечник.
