Indications

• fungal infections of the skin and skin folds (tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis);

• interdigital mycoses (tinea manuum, tinea pedum);

• fungal infections of the nails (onychomycosis);

• cutaneous candidiasis;

• pityriasis versicolor;

• dermatomycoses (with and without accompanying itching).
Naftifin Medisorb is effective in the treatment of mycoses affecting areas of skin with hyperkeratosis, as well as in areas of hair growth.

How to use

For external use.
In case of skin lesions
The preparation Naftifin Medisorb is applied once daily to the affected skin surface and the surrounding areas (approximately 1 cm of healthy skin around the edges of the affected area) after thorough cleansing and drying. The duration of therapy for dermatomycoses is 2-4 weeks (if necessary, up to 8 weeks); for candidiasis - 4 weeks.

In case of nail lesions
The preparation Naftifin Medisorb is applied twice daily to the affected nail. Before the first application, the affected part of the nail should be maximally removed with scissors or a nail file.
The duration of therapy for onychomycosis is up to 6 months.
To prevent recurrence, treatment should be continued for at least 2 weeks after the clinical symptoms have disappeared.

При поражении кожи
Препарат Нафтифин Медисорб наносят 1 раз в день на пораженную поверхность кожи и прилегающие к ней участки (приблизительно 1 см здорового участка кожи по краям зоны поражения) после их тщательной очистки и высушивания. Длительность терапии при дерматомикозах - 2-4 недели (при необходимости до 8 недель), при кандидозах - 4 недели.

При поражении ногтей
Препарат Нафтифин Медисорб наносят 2 раза в день на пораженный ноготь. Перед первым применением препарата максимально удаляют пораженную часть ногтя ножницами или пилкой для ногтей.
Длительность терапии при онихомикозах - до 6 месяцев.
Для предотвращения рецидива лечение следует продолжить в течение минимум 2 недель после исчезновения клинических симптомов.

Active ingredient: naftifine hydrochloride 10.0 mg
Excipients: propylene glycol, ethanol (ethyl alcohol 95%), purified water

Transparent, colorless or slightly yellowish solution with an ethanol odor.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated (the safety and efficacy of naftifine in these patient categories have not been studied).

The Naftifin Medisorb preparation is not intended for ophthalmic use. Avoid contact with the eyes.
To achieve a therapeutic effect, a course of treatment is required. Propylene glycol, included in the solution, may cause skin irritation; if side effects occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
The Naftifin Medisorb preparation does not negatively affect the ability to drive vehicles or perform other activities that require concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.

Для достижения терапевтического эффекта требуется курсовое лечение. Пропиленгликоль, входящий в состав раствора, может вызывать раздражение кожи; при появлении побочных эффектов необходимо прекратить применение препарата и обратиться к врачу.

Влияние на способность управлять транспортными средствами, механизмами Препарат Нафтифин Медисорб не оказывает отрицательного влияния на способность управлять транспортными средствами и выполнять другие виды деятельности, требуюие концентрации внимания и быстроты психомоторных реакций.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

In some cases, local reactions may occur: skin dryness, skin hyperemia (redness), and burning sensation. The side effects are reversible and do not require discontinuation of treatment.
If you experience side effects listed in the instructions or if they worsen, or if you notice any other side effects not mentioned in the instructions, inform your doctor.

When the medication is used according to the instructions for use, overdose is unlikely. In case of accidental ingestion, gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy are indicated.

Interaction with other medicinal products has not been studied.

В отдельных случаях могут наблюдаться местные реакции: сухость кожи, гиперемия кожи (покраснение) и жжение. Побочные эффекты носят обратимый характер и не требуют отмены лечения.

Pharmacology

Naftifine is an antifungal agent for external use, belonging to the class of allylamines. Its mechanism of action is associated with the inhibition of squalene-2,3-epoxidase, leading to a decrease in the formation of ergosterol, a component of the fungal cell wall. It is active against dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Microsporum, mold fungi (Aspergillus spp.), yeast fungi (Candida spp., Pityrosporum), and other fungi (e.g., Sporothrix schenckii). Naftifine exhibits fungicidal activity against dermatophytes and Aspergillus. For yeast fungi, the drug shows either fungicidal or fungistatic activity depending on the strain of the microorganism. It possesses antibacterial activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms that can cause secondary bacterial infections. It has anti-inflammatory effects that contribute to the rapid resolution of inflammation symptoms, especially itching.

When applied externally, naftifine penetrates well into the skin, creating sustained antifungal concentrations in its various layers, which allows for the use of the medication once a day.

Нафтифин - противогрибковое средство для наружного применения, относящееся к классу аллиламинов. Механизм действия связан с ингибированием сквален-2,3-эпоксидазы, что приводит к снижению образования эргостерола, входящего в состав клеточной стенки гриба. Naftifine Medisorb 1% solution for external use 30 ml is an antifungal medication for external application. The drug exhibits fungicidal or fungistatic activity against yeast and yeast-like fungi. It has antibacterial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms that cause secondary bacterial infections. It possesses anti-inflammatory properties that contribute to the rapid resolution of inflammation symptoms, especially itching.

Indications for use:
- Treatment of skin and skin fold fungal infections
- Fungal nail infections
- Cutaneous candidiasis
- Tinea versicolor
