Indications
The medicinal product Nigepan® is used in adults aged 18 years and older. Thrombosis of external and internal hemorrhoidal nodes.
If there is no improvement after treatment or if you feel worse, it is necessary to consult a doctor.

How to use
Always use the medication in full accordance with the recommendations of your healthcare provider or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your healthcare provider or pharmacist.
The medication is used in adults.
Recommended dosage: 1 suppository 2 times a day.
Route and method of administration: Rectally. The suppository is inserted into the rectum after spontaneous bowel movement or a cleansing enema.
Duration of therapy
The average duration of treatment is 10-14 days.
If you forget to use Nigepan®
If you have not inserted the suppository at the scheduled time, do so as soon as you remember. Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

Если Вы забыли применить препарат Нигепан®
Если Вы не ввели суппозиторий в назначенное время, сделайте это, как только вспомните. Не применяйте двойную дозу, чтобы компенсировать пропущенную дозу.

Composition
The Nigepan® preparation contains
The active ingredients are sodium heparin and benzocaine.
Each suppository contains: sodium heparin – 1000 IU (8.3 mg at a sodium heparin activity of 120 IU/mg), benzocaine – 50 mg.
Other ingredients (excipients) are: purified water, solid fat, distilled monoglycerides (Palsgaard 0093).
Suppositories in a torpedo shape, white or white with a yellowish tint. The appearance of a coating on the surface of the suppository and the presence of an air core and funnel-shaped indentation in the cross-section are permissible.

Препарат Нигепан® содержит
Действующими веществами являются гепарин натрия и бензокаин.
Каждый суппозиторий содержит: гепарин натрия – 1000 МЕ (8,3 мг при активности гепарина натрия 120 МЕ/мг), бензокаин – 50 мг.
Прочими ингредиентами (вспомогательными веществами) являются: вода очищенная, жир твердый, моноглицериды дистиллированные (Палсгаард 0093).
Суппозитории торпедообразной формы белого или белого с желтоватым оттенком цвета. Допускается появление налета на поверхности суппозитория и наличие на срезе воздушного стержня и воронкообразного углубления.
Contraindications & warnings
Do not use Nigepan®:
• if you are allergic to sodium heparin, benzocaine, or any other components of the product (listed in section 6 of the leaflet);
• if you have an increased tendency to bleed, thrombocytopenia (decreased platelet count in the blood).
Before using the Nigepan® medication, consult with your treating physician or a pharmacy staff member.
In cases of heavy bloody discharge from the rectum or if painful symptoms persist for more than 7 days, it is necessary to consult a proctologist.
Children and adolescents
The safety of using Nigepan® in children under 18 years of age has not been established. The use of this medication is contraindicated in children under 18 years.

Не применяйте препарат Нигепан®:
• если у Вас аллергия на гепарин натрия, бензокаин или любые другие компоненты препарата (перечисленные в разделе 6 листка-вкладыша);
• если у Вас повышенная склонность к кровоточивости, тромбоцитопения (снижение уровня тромбоцитов в крови).
Перед применением препарата Нигепан® проконсультируйтесь с лечащим врачом или работником аптеки.
При обильных кровянистых выделениях из прямой кишки или при сохранении болезненных симптомов свыше 7 дней необходимо дополнительно проконсультироваться с проктологом.
Дети и подростки
Безопасность применения препарата Нигепан® у детей в возрасте до 18 лет не установлена. Применение препарата в детском возрасте до 18 лет противопоказано.
Side effects, overdose & interactions
Like all medications, this product may cause undesirable reactions; however, they do not occur in everyone.
Possible undesirable reactions that may be observed with the use of Nigepan:

• allergic reactions;
• methemoglobinemia.
Reporting undesirable reactions
If you experience any undesirable reactions, consult a doctor or pharmacy staff. This also includes any undesirable reactions not listed in the package leaflet. You can also report undesirable reactions directly (see below). By reporting undesirable reactions, you help gather more information about the safety of the product.
If you have used Nigepan® more than recommended
Information on overdose cases is not available.
In case of overdose, immediately contact a doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital. If possible, take the packaging with you to show the doctor which medication you have used.
Inform your treating physician or pharmacist that you are using, have recently used, or may start using any other medications.
The interaction of the drug Nigepan® with other medications has not been described.

Pharmacology
What is the drug Nigepan® and what is it used for
The drug Nigepan® contains the active ingredients sodium heparin and benzocaine and belongs to the group of drugs known as "angioprotectors; agents for the treatment of hemorrhoids and anal fissures for local use; local anesthetics." Heparin is a direct-acting anticoagulant (it prevents blood clotting and the formation of clots, halting the growth of already formed clots) and has anti-inflammatory properties. Benzocaine provides local analgesic effects.

Что из себя представляет препарат Нигепан®, и для чего его применяют
Препарат Нигепан® содержит действующие вещества гепарин натрия и бензокаин и относится к группе препаратов под названием «ангиопротекторы; средства для лечения геморроя и анальных трещин для местного применения; местные анестетики». Гепарин является антикоагулянтом прямого действия (препятствует свертыванию крови и образованию тромбов, прекращает рост уже возникших тромбов), обладает противовоспалительным действием. Бензокаин оказывает местное обезболивающее действие.
