Indications
For internal use, an infusion of oregano herb is applied in adults as an expectorant for upper respiratory tract diseases (acute and chronic bronchitis, ARVI); as a means to stimulate appetite and improve digestion, in cases of secretory insufficiency of the gastrointestinal tract, in intestinal atony, in enterocolitis accompanied by constipation and flatulence.
For external use, it is applied for compresses in purulent skin diseases and diathesis.

Внутрь настой травы душицы применяют у взрослых в качестве отхаркивающего средства при заболеваниях верхних дыхательных путей (острый и хронический бронхит, ОРВИ); в качестве средства, повышающего аппетит и улучшающего пищеварение, при секреторной недостаточности желудочно-кишечного тракта, при атонии кишечника, при энтероколитах, сопровождающихся запорами и метеоризмом.
Наружно применяют для примочек при гнойничковых заболеваниях кожи и диатезе.
How to use
About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of crushed raw material is placed in an enamel container, poured with 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid, and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, strained, and the remaining raw material is squeezed.
The volume of the resulting infusion is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
Take orally in warm form, 1/4 - 1/2 cup 2 times a day, 15 minutes before meals.
For external use, apply for baths or as compresses 2-3 times a day.
The course of treatment is 1-2 weeks.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Около 10 г (2 ст. ложки) измельченного сырья помещают в эмалированную посуду, заливают 200 мл (1 стакан) горячей кипяченой воды, закрывают
крышкой и нагревают на кипящей водяной бане 15 минут, охлаждают при комнатной температуре 45 минут, процеживают, оставшееся сырье отжимают.
Объем полученного настоя доводят кипяченой водой до 200 мл.
Принимают внутрь в теплом виде по 1/4 - 1/2 стакана 2 раза в день за 15 минут до еды.
Наружно применяют для ванн или в виде примочек 2-3 раза в день.
Курс лечения - 1-2 недели.
Перед употреблением настой рекомендуется взбалтывать.

Oregano Herb is a medicinal product. Oregano herb contains flavonoids, essential oil, tannins, and other biologically active substances. The infusion of oregano herb has expectorant, choleretic, diuretic, and sedative effects. It enhances intestinal peristalsis, increases appetite and gastric juice secretion, and possesses moderate antimicrobial properties. It is used as part of combination therapy.
Internally, it is used as an expectorant for respiratory diseases (acute and chronic bronchitis, acute respiratory viral infections); as a means to increase appetite and improve digestion in cases of secretory insufficiency of the gastrointestinal tract, intestinal atony, and enterocolitis accompanied by constipation and flatulence.
Externally, it is used in the form of compresses and baths for pyoderma (purulent skin lesions) and atopic dermatitis (diathesis). The infusion is taken internally warm, at a dosage of 1/4-1/2 cup 2 times a day, 15 minutes before meals.
Externally, the infusion is applied in the form of baths or compresses 2-3 times a day. The treatment course lasts 1-2 weeks.
Before use, it is recommended to shake the infusion. The herb is ground, with 50 g per package. It is advisable to consult a doctor before use.
