How to use

Pour 1 teaspoon of plant material (1.5-1.8 g) with 1 cup (200 ml) of boiling water, infuse for 15 minutes, strain, and dilute the resulting infusion with boiled water to 200 ml.
Adults should take 1/2 cup (100 ml) 2 times a day with meals.
Duration of intake - 3 - 4 weeks.
If necessary, the intake can be repeated.

Pharmacology

The borovaya matka (Orthilia secunda L.) strengthens the immune system and promotes reproductive health. It is used for the treatment of infertility, adnexitis, inflammation of the fallopian tubes, adhesions, endometriosis, fibroids and myomas of the uterus, cervical erosion, polycystic ovary syndrome, toxemia during pregnancy, menstrual cycle disorders, painful premenstrual syndrome, cystitis, pyelonephritis, and inflammation of the prostate gland.

It is truly one of the best natural remedies for treating gynecological diseases, infertility, and urogenital disorders. Despite one of its folk names being "women's herb," borovaya matka also benefits men.

Borovaya matka is found throughout the forest zone of the temperate climate in North America, Europe, and Asia, as well as in the mountains of Central Asia, the Caucasus, Mongolia, China, and Japan. It typically grows in coniferous and mixed forests, occasionally found in broadleaf forests, meadows, clearings, edges, glades, swamps, and forest ravines.

Borovaya matka is a perennial evergreen plant with a long, branched rhizome.

For medicinal purposes, the herb of borovaya matka, which includes its above-ground parts, leaves, and stems with flowers, is used. The herb contains tannins, glycosides (including iridoid monotropein), arbutin, methyl arbutin, hydroquinone, renifolin, chimaphilin, flavonoids, resins, coumarins, saponins, bitters, organic acids (tartaric and citric), and vitamin C.

Borovaya matka is widely used in folk medicine among various peoples, especially popular in Siberia.

It is used as a treatment for gynecological inflammatory diseases, adnexitis (inflammation of the appendages), uterine myoma and fibroma, uterine bleeding, infantilism, cervical erosion, adhesions, and obstruction and inflammation of the fallopian tubes. It is one of the most effective remedies for menstrual cycle disorders and amenorrhea. It has been used for centuries to treat infertility in women. It is also used as a diuretic and disinfectant for cystitis, pyelonephritis, and inflammation of the prostate gland.

The crushed plant material is of uneven color, ranging from light green to green-brown. The smell is weak and specific. The infusion has a strong herbal aroma, and the taste is astringent and spicy.

Боровая матка широко применяется в народной медицине разных народов, особенно популярна она в Сибири.
Применяется как средство лечения гинекологических заболеваний воспалительного характера, аднексита (воспаления придатков), миоме и фиброме матки, маточных кровотечениях, инфантилизме, эрозии шейки матки, спаечных процессах, непроходимости и воспалении маточных труб. При нарушениях менструального цикла, аменорее является одним из наиболее действенных средств. С давних пор применяется для лечения бесплодия у женщин. Также используется как мочегонное и дезинфицирующее средство при циститах, пиелонефритах, при воспалении предстательной железы.
