How to use

Adults and children over 5 years old are recommended to dissolve 1 tablet of the medication every 2-3 hours. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets.

Contraindications & warnings

— children under 5 years of age;
— hypersensitivity to the components of the medication.

Strepsils® in the form of lozenges (lemon flavor) can be used in patients with diabetes mellitus, as this dosage form does not contain sugar.
When prescribing the medication to patients with diabetes mellitus, it should be noted that 1 lozenge of the honey-lemon flavor contains 2.6 g of sugar.

Стрепсилс® в форме таблеток для рассасывания (лимонных) можно применять у пациентов с сахарным диабетом, т.к. данная лекарственная форма не содержит сахар.
При назначении препарата пациентам с сахарным диабетом необходимо учитывать, что в 1 таблетке для рассасывания медово-лимонной содержится 2.6 г сахара.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

Rare: allergic reactions.

Due to low systemic absorption, overdose is unlikely.

Symptoms: gastrointestinal discomfort.

Treatment: symptomatic therapy is administered.

No clinically significant interactions of Strepsils® with medications from other groups have been identified.
