Class II compression medical devices (from 23 to 32 mm Hg) are intended for:

• the treatment of varicose veins without trophic disorders in the calf and thigh segments, including for pregnant women

• the treatment of acute thrombophlebitis, deep vein thrombosis

• the treatment and prevention of post-thrombotic syndrome,

• before and after sclerotherapy, phlebectomy operations and in preparation for them,

• in cases of other surgical interventions, in case of post-traumatic swelling. Attention! A consultation with a specialist doctor is required for the use of class II compression devices.

Basic principles of use:

• compression garments can be used in inpatient and outpatient facilities, or at home,

• the type and length of the garment are usually chosen depending on the affected segment of the veins: the upper edge should cover the area of damage by 5-10 cm, but a longer model can also be selected,

• the required degree of compression for treatment is usually determined by medical indications, but the doctor can adjust it individually,

• the size is chosen based on the circumference of the leg, height, according to the size chart; measurements should be taken in the morning (before swelling appears) or after the legs have rested, placing the leg horizontally - this can be done by oneself or with the help of a specialist,

• the garment should be put on in the morning, as soon as hygiene procedures are completed, and worn all day unless the doctor prescribes otherwise,

• since medical compression garments need to be washed every day, it is recommended to purchase two pairs for convenience

• even correctly sized class II compression garments may cause discomfort and increased pain in the first days of wear - while the swelling persists, there is no need to worry about these complaints; to get used to the compression knitwear, the duration of wear can initially be reduced, gradually increasing it to the required level.
Procedure for putting on/taking off, rules:

• before putting on compression garments, we recommend removing jewelry from your hands, and it is preferable to use rubber gloves,

• hold the upper part of the garment with both hands and gather it in folds down to the heel, turn it inside out,

• insert your big toes into the garment and put it on your foot, stretching it, smooth it out so that the garment is positioned straight, not compressing the toes,

• gently stretching with the pads of your fingers, evenly pull the garment up to the required level; if the garment is too stretched upwards, lower it to the ankle and align it to the required level without stretching

• when taking off, you should also remove jewelry and put on rubber gloves,

• grasp the upper edge of the garment with both hands and pull it down towards the foot with stretching movements,

• carefully remove the garment from the foot and toes with stretching movements

• when removing the stocking, do not pull on the silicone band in any case - it may tear at the attachment point.

• Individual intolerance to any component of the product's raw materials,

• local skin diseases on the legs, trophic ulcers of non-venous etiology, acute soft tissue infections of the legs, including erysipelas,

• decompensated heart and vascular failure,

• severe arterial blood flow disorders in the lower extremities with pressure in the femoral arteries of less than 80 mm Hg,

• diabetic neuropathy and angiopathy.

Special Instructions

Care Instructions for the Product
Medical compression products are resistant to the use of creams and ointments; however, the accumulation of residues from these substances, dust, and epidermis causes wear of the fibers. It is recommended to wash by hand every day.
Compression products should be washed by hand in soapy water at a temperature of +40°C, without using bleaches and chlorine-containing agents.
After rinsing in water, gently squeeze by hand, do not twist, do not wring in a centrifuge.
Dry in a laid-out position. Do not iron.
The silicone band of the stocking should not come into contact with water, soap, and cream. To restore the adhesive properties of the silicone, it is recommended to wipe it with a cotton swab moistened with an alcohol solution (30-40%).
