After childbirth, the belt should be turned "backwards," so that the wide part tightens and supports the abdomen, while the narrow part fastens at the back.

There are practically no contraindications for wearing a bandage during the prenatal period. There is only one obstetric situation when it is better to postpone the use of a bandage: if after 30 weeks the fetus has not assumed the correct position - head down, and is lying in a transverse or breech position, it is advisable to first attempt to "correct the position" under the guidance of an obstetrician-gynecologist using various special exercises, and only then "fix" it in the correct position with the help of a bandage.

In the postpartum period (in the absence of contraindications), the bandage should be started from the first days after delivery, worn daily for one and a half months. It is not recommended to wear the bandage during sleep. It is better to put on the bandage while lying on the back to ensure even, tight contact of the fabric with the skin and to fix the muscles and internal organs in the correct position.

The FEST maternity bandage is recommended by the Russian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. It is advised to wear it from the 20th to 24th week of pregnancy.
The bandage is a belt made of perforated bandage tape, with fasteners for adjusting the level of support.
During pregnancy, the bandage is worn with the wide part at the back - for maximum relief of the back, while the narrow part provides support to the abdomen.
After childbirth, the bandage is turned around so that the wide side tightens and supports the abdomen.
Wearing time - no more than 10 hours a day. Consult with an obstetrician-gynecologist before selection.
