• plays an important role in the growth and development of the body and participates in the healing process of wounds, increases the body's resistance to chemical intoxications, overheating, and cooling. It protects the cells of our body from the harmful effects of free radicals.

• participates in protecting the body from infectious diseases, helping leukocytes - the protective blood cells - to fight bacteria and viruses.

• is involved in the biosynthesis of hemoglobin - the substance responsible for oxygen transport.

• promotes better absorption of iron by intestinal cells. It is recommended as an additional source of vitamin C in conditions of hypo- and avitaminosis of vitamin C. It is also recommended during stress, smoking, alcohol abuse, unbalanced nutrition, gastrointestinal diseases that impair the absorption of vitamin C. It is recommended during significant physical exertion and extreme mental stress.
