How to use

For external use. Adults and children aged 12 years and older should apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin 1-2 times a day. A dressing may be used if necessary.
The duration of the course and the specifics of the treatment regimen (for both children and adults) should be agreed upon with a physician. Use the medication only according to the method of application and in the doses specified in the instructions. If necessary, please consult a physician before using the medication.

Наружно. Взрослым и детям с 12 лет наносят тонким слоем на пораженные участки кожи 1-2 раза в день. При необходимости используют повязку.
Продолжительность курса и особенности схемы лечения (и у детей, и у взрослых) необходимо согласовать с врачом. Применяйте препарат только согласно тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции. В случае необходимости, пожалуйста проконсультируйтесь с врачом перед применением лекарственного препарата.

Contraindications & warnings

Increased sensitivity to ichthammol or to other components of the product. Age under 12 years.

The ointment is intended for external use only and is not recommended for application on open wounds.
Avoid contact of the ointment with mucous membranes and eyes.
After applying the ointment, it is necessary to thoroughly wash hands to prevent the ointment from getting into the eyes, nose, or mouth.

Повышенная чувствительность к ихтаммолу или к другим компонентам препарата. Детский возраст до 12 лет.

Мазь предназначена только для наружного применения, не рекомендуется наносить на открытые раны.
Не допускать попадания мази на слизистые оболочки и в глаза.
После нанесения мази необходимо тщательно вымыть руки для предотвращения попадания мази в глаза, нос, рот.

Pharmacology

Anti-inflammatory agent, exhibits antimicrobial (bactericidal against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes) keratoplastic action. Accelerates the maturation of boils. When applied directly to the skin, it causes mild irritation of sensitive nerve endings, followed by a decrease in their sensitivity, leading to the emergence of reflexes that alter tissue trophism. Causes denaturation of protein molecules.

Due to low systemic absorption, data on the pharmacokinetics of ikthammol is absent.

Противовоспалительное средство, оказывает противомикробное (бактерицидное в отношении Staphylococcus aureus и Streptococcus pyogenes) кератопластическое действие. Ускоряет созревание фурункулов. При непосредственном действии на кожу вызывает слабое раздражение чувствительных нервных окончаний, сменяющееся снижением их чувствительности, что приводит к возникновению рефлексов, изменяющих трофику тканей. Вызывает денатурацию белковых молекул.

В связи с низкой системной абсорбцией данные о фармакокинетике ихтаммола отсутствуют.
