How to use

RULES FOR HANDLING CONTACT LENSES:

4.1. HYGIENE RULES AND HANDLING.

Before touching contact lenses:

• thoroughly wash your hands with mild soap, rinse them well;

• dry your hands with a towel that does not leave fibers on your hands.

4.2. OPENING THE LENS BLISTER.

To open the blister with the lens:

• separate one blister from the blister strip without damaging the other blisters;

• ensure the blister is sealed;

• check for the presence of the lens in the blister (shake the blister and ensure the lens is freely floating in the solution);

• peel back the free edge of the foil from the blister, pull it upwards, and open the package (sometimes the lens may stick to the foil from the inside, this does not affect the sterility of the lens, it can be used);

• carefully remove the lens from the blister by sliding it off the wall with your finger. It is not recommended to use tweezers or other tools.

Do not use the lenses if you find that the blister packaging is open or damaged.

HOW TO PUT ON CONTACT LENSES.
To avoid mixing up the lenses, develop the habit of always starting to put on lenses with the same eye, for example, the right one.

This is especially important if you have different vision in your right and left eyes, and your ophthalmologist has prescribed different lenses for you.

Step-by-step actions:

• place the opened blisters with contact lenses on the table so that the blister with the lens for the right eye is on your right and the blister with the lens for the left eye is on your left;

• take the lens for the right eye out of the blister and place it on the tip of your right index finger;

• inspect the lens, ensuring there are no visible damages (tears, edge frays, inclusions in the lens material);

• ensure the lens is correctly oriented, meaning it is not inside out;
When positioned correctly, the lens resembles a "cup" shape, with its edges facing upwards.
When positioned incorrectly, the lens resembles a "plate" shape, with its edges facing sideways.
• place the middle finger of your right hand near the lash line of the lower eyelid and pull the lower eyelid down;

• lift the upper eyelid with your left index or middle finger;

• place the lens on the eyeball;

• gently lower the eyelids and blink.

Do the same when putting on the lens for the left eye. After putting on the lenses, you will stop feeling them within a few seconds.

Centering the lens.

Usually, the lens centers itself on the cornea when put on and rarely shifts to the side during wear. However, sometimes, if improperly put on or removed, the lens may shift from the center of the eyeball.

To center the contact lens, use one of the following methods:

• close your eyelids and gently move the lens to the center of the eye through closed eyelids using massaging movements with the tip of your index finger

• gently move the lens to the center with your eyes open, pressing your fingers on the edge of the upper or lower eyelid.

If after putting on the lenses you see blurry, ensure that:

• the lens is centered on the cornea (if necessary, follow the instructions above);

• the lens is correctly oriented (not inside out) - remove the lens and check its position.

4.4. HOW TO REMOVE CONTACT LENSES.

Before removing the lenses, thoroughly wash and dry your hands. Follow hygiene rules.

Always start removing lenses from the same eye, for example, the right one.

Step-by-step actions:

• ensure the lens is centered on the cornea;

• look upward;

• place your index finger on the edge of the lens;

• shift the lens down or towards the inner corner of the eye;

• pinch the lens between your index and thumb;

• remove the lens.

ПРАВИЛА ОБРАЩЕНИЯ С КОНТАКТНЫМИ ЛИНЗАМИ:

4.1. ПРАВИЛА ГИГИЕНЫ И ОБРАБОТКА РУК.

Прежде чем дотрагиваться до контактных линз:

• тщательно вымойте руки с мягким мылом, хорошо сполосните их;

• высушите руки полотенцем, которое не оставляет волокон на руках.

4.2. ВСКРЫТИЕ БЛИСТЕРА С ЛИНЗОЙ.

Чтобы вскрыть блистер с линзой:

• отделите один блистер от ленты с блистерами, не повредив остальные блистеры;

• убедитесь в герметичности блистера;

• проверьте наличие линзы в блистере (встряхните блистер и убедитесь, что линза свободно плавает в растворе);

• отделите свободный край фольги от блистера, потяните вверх и вскройте упаковку (иногда линза может прилипнуть изнутри к фольге, это не влияет на стерильность линзы, ее можно использовать);

• осторожно достаньте линзу из блистера, ведя ее пальцем по стенке. Не рекомендуется пользоваться пинцетом или другими инструментами.

Не используйте линзы, если обнаружили, что упаковка блистера открыта или повреждена.
КАК НАДЕТЬ КОНТАКТНЫЕ ЛИНЗЫ.
Для того, чтобы не путать линзы, выработайте привычку всегда начинать надевание линз с одного и того же глаза, например, с правого.

Это особенно важно, если у Вас отличается зрение правого и левого глаза, и врач-офтальмолог назначил Вам разные линзы.

Пошаговые действия:

• расположите вскрытые блистеры с контактными линзами на столе таким образом, чтобы блистер с линзой для правого глаза находился справа от вас, а блистер с линзой для левого глаза - слева;

• выньте линзу для правого глаза из блистера, поместите ее на кончик указательного пальца правой руки;

• осмотрите линзу, убедитесь в отсутствии видимых повреждений (разрывов, надрывов края, включений в материале линзы);

• убедитесь, что линза правильно ориентирована, то есть не вывернута наизнанку;
При правильном положении линзы она напоминает по форме «чашечку», ее края направлены вверх.
При неправильном положении линзы она напоминает по форме «тарелку», ее края направлены в стороны.
• поместите средний палец правой руки вблизи линии ресниц нижнего века и оттяните нижнее веко вниз;

• приподнимите верхнее веко указательным или средним пальцем левой руки;

• поместите линзу на глазное яблоко;

• осторожно опустите веки и моргните.

Проделайте то же самое при надевании линзы на левый глаз. После надевания линз вы перестанете их ощущать через несколько секунд.
Центровка линзы.

Обычно линза сама располагается посередине роговицы при надевании и редко смещается в сторону в процессе ношения. Однако иногда, при неправильном надевании или снятии линза может сместиться от центра глазного яблока.

Для центровки контактной линзы воспользуйтесь одним из следующих способов:

• прикройте веки и осторожно переместите линзу к центру глаза через закрытые веки с помощью массирующих движений кончиком указательного пальца

или

• осторожно переместите линзу в центр при открытых глазах, надавливая пальцами на край верхнего или нижнего века.

Если после надевания линз Вы видите нечетко, убедитесь в том, что:

• линза установлена по центру роговицы (при необходимости следуйте вышеприведенной инструкции);

• линза правильно ориентирована (не вывернута наизнанку) - снимите линзу и проверьте ее положение.

4.4. КАК СНЯТЬ КОНТАКТНЫЕ ЛИНЗЫ.

Прежде чем снимать линзы, тщательно вымойте и насухо вытрите руки. Соблюдайте правила гигиены.

Всегда начинайте снимать линзы с одного и того же глаза, например, с правого.

Пошаговые действия:

• убедитесь, что линза находится посередине роговицы;

• переведите взгляд вверх;

• поставьте указательный палец на край линзы;

• сместите линзу вниз или к внутреннему углу глаза;

• сожмите линзу между указательным и большим пальцем;

• снимите линзу.

Contraindications & warnings

Do not use contact lenses in the presence of the following eye conditions:

• inflammation or infection in the area around the eyes or on the eyelids;

• any eye diseases, injuries, or abnormalities affecting the cornea, conjunctiva, or eyelids;

• severe dry eyes;

• reduced corneal sensitivity;

• any systemic diseases that may affect the eyeball or complicate the wearing of contact lenses;

• allergic diseases of the eye surface or adjacent tissues;

• any acute infectious diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva.

Wearing lenses is not recommended during colds and influenza.

A doctor may prescribe contact lenses to achieve a therapeutic effect for certain eye conditions, which may include the aforementioned diseases.

Please note that contact lenses are a medical device that comes into contact with the surface of the eye; therefore, recommendations for their selection can only be provided by an ophthalmologist or optometrist during a personal consultation, as this is the only way to ensure the safe use of contact lenses.

DISINFECTION
Before putting on or taking off the lenses, always rinse them with a contact lens care solution recommended by your ophthalmologist. Store the lenses in a container filled with fresh contact lens care solution. If you wear lenses irregularly, change the solution in the container weekly.
CAUTION
Regularly check your vision and follow your doctor's recommendations. Do not share your lenses; they are intended solely for you. Follow the recommendations for the wearing schedule of the lenses.
IF YOU EXPERIENCE SEVERE DISCOMFORT, EXCESSIVE TEARING, VISION DISTURBANCE, OR REDNESS OF THE EYES, REMOVE THE LENSES IMMEDIATELY AND CONSULT AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST.

Не используйте линзы при наличии нижеперечисленных патологических состояний глаз:
