Inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (laryngitis, tracheitis, chronic bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, whooping cough) accompanied by cough with difficult-to-expectorate sputum.

About 5 g (1 tablespoon) of the raw material is placed in an enameled container, poured with 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid, and infused in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, strained, and the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting infusion is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
Take orally while warm, 1/2 - 1/3 cup 2-3 times a day, 1 hour before meals.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Coltsfoot leaves (Farfarae folia)

Pieces of leaves of various shapes, glabrous on the upper side, with a white-woolly pubescence on the lower side. Color is grayish-green with light brown and dark brown speckles. Odor is absent. The taste of the aqueous extract is slightly bitter with a mucilaginous sensation.

Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation period, childhood under 12 years of age.

The safety and clinical efficacy of using coltsfoot leaves in children under 12 years of age have not been established; therefore, the medication should only be used in this age group after a careful assessment of the risk/benefit ratio. The safety and efficacy of the medication during pregnancy and breastfeeding have not been studied; therefore, it should be prescribed with consideration of the benefit to the mother/risk to the fetus (child).
