Indications

• Postoperative management of sutured wounds
• For protecting wounds after medical procedures (disinfection, wound cleaning, etc.); sterile care for superficial skin injuries (cuts, abrasions, chafing, etc.), first aid; absorption of exudate in wounds with moderate discharge; fixation of atraumatic dressings.

Method of Use and Dosage

1. Choose the Cosmopor® E steril packaging depending on the size of the wound, and open it.
2. Take out the dressing, remove one part of the paper backing, and attach the dressing to the wound, smoothing it out and pressing it down gently.
3. Remove the paper backing from the second part of the dressing and attach it in the same manner. The pad should completely cover the wound. The dressing change occurs on an individual basis, but no less than once every three days.

Base of the dressing: breathable, soft perforated non-woven white polyester (100%)
Adhesive layer: synthetic transparent hypoallergenic rubber adhesive applied in strips
The absorbent pad consists of 2 layers:
1) layer in contact with the wound - permeable polyethylene mesh
2) absorbent layer - viscose.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the materials of the product. If redness of the skin, rash, peeling, itching, or burning occurs, discontinue use of Cosmopor® E steril and consult a doctor.

Special instructions

The pad should completely cover the wound.
The dressing change occurs on an individual basis, but no less frequently than once every three days.
