How to use

Select a patch size that covers the wound with the pad, and ensure the adhesive edges extend onto intact skin.
Remove the individual packaging and take off the protective film, maintaining sterility.
Carefully unfold and secure the patch by pressing down on the edges of the adhesive part.
Do not apply pressure to the wound.
The pad must completely cover the wound.
Change the dressing on an individual basis, but no less than once every three days.

Contraindications & warnings

Individual intolerance to the materials of the product and hypersensitivity.
If redness of the skin, rash, peeling, itching, or burning occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

The dressing has a hydrophobic base, allowing for hand washing or a short shower while avoiding heavy wetting of the dressing area.
At the same time, the product does not impede airflow to the skin.
It provides mechanical protection against accidental pressure, eliminates friction, and prevents secondary injury to the wound.

При появлении покраснения кожи, сыпи, шелушения, зуда, жжения необходимо прекратить использование и обратиться к врачу.

Повязка имеет гидрофобную основу, поэтому с ней можно помыть руки или коротко принять душ, избегая сильного намокания области повязки.
При этом изделие не препятствует притоку воздуха к коже.

The Cosmopor® silicone line consists of adhesive bandages with a silicone contact layer, used for postoperative wounds as well as wounds with moderate exudate for absorption.

COSMOPOR SILICONE ADHESIVE DRESSING WITH SILICONE CONTACT LAYER - medical device

Cosmopor® silicone is a passive, single-use, self-adhesive sterile and semi-permeable wound dressing (hydrocellular thin dressing) made of a non-woven base material and an absorbent pad for the wound.
Both parts of the dressing are covered with a perforated silicone adhesive layer and protected by a film.

COSMOPOR® SILICONE HAS A NUMBER OF ADVANTAGES:
• The silicone coating ensures reliable fixation and gentle removal. Thanks to the silicone coating, the dressing does not stick to the wound and postoperative sutures, providing painless and gentle removal from the wound and surrounding skin. Removing the dressing is now completely painless!
• The thick three-layer pad with superabsorbent fibers and patented DryBarrier® technology absorbs and retains exudate within the pad, preventing it from returning to the wound, provides cushioning, and creates a mechanical barrier that helps protect the wound from pressure and friction.
• The water-repellent, breathable soft base of the dressing with rounded edges protects the wound, conforms to body contours, and does not roll during wear.
• The dressing can remain on the wound for up to 3 days.
• Suitable for sensitive and fragile skin.

Particularly relevant for use in newborns, children, patients with sensitive skin, those who have undergone surgical procedures, oncology patients, and for frequent dressing changes to minimize skin trauma.

The product is sterile and hypoallergenic.
It provides protection to the wound from environmental factors and microbes, accelerating healing.
Additionally, the absorbent adhesive dressing Cosmopor is breathable, and the rounded edges prevent spontaneous peeling.

The Cosmopor adhesive dressing maintains moisture on the wound, which physiologically promotes granulation and epithelialization of skin damage.
As a result, it accelerates wound healing.
The contact side of the dressing features a perforated medical silicone layer.
This addresses issues of the dressing sticking to the wound and allows for painless changes.
The Cosmopor adhesive dressing does not stick, leaves no residue, and is comfortably removed for the patient.
