Indications

Symptomatic treatment of constipation of various origins.
Prevention of constipation in patients who cannot strain during defecation: painful thrombosed hemorrhoids, anal fissures or perianal abscess, anorectal stenosis, after myocardial infarction, postpartum; before and after surgical operations on the rectum, before instrumental and radiological examination of the rectum. Disruption of the act of defecation in children from 3 months of age.

Симптоматическое лечение запоров различного происхождения.
Профилактика запоров у пациентов, которые не могут напрягаться при дефекации: болезненный тромбированный геморрой, трещины заднего прохода или перианальный абсцесс, аноректальный стеноз, после перенесенного инфаркта миокарда, после родов; перед и после хирургических операций на прямой кишке, перед инструментальным и рентгенологическим исследованием прямой кишки. Нарушение акта дефекации у детей с 3-х месячного возраста.

How to use

Rectally.
The preparation is administered into the rectum. Defecation usually occurs 5-10 minutes after administration. Residues of the suppository are expelled from the intestine with feces.
For children aged 3 months and older, the dose is 750 mg once daily.
For adults: the dose is 1500 mg once daily.
If necessary, the dose may be increased to 2 suppositories per day.
Before and after using the suppositories, hands should be thoroughly washed.
The preparation should not be used for more than 7 days without specific medical advice.

Ректально.
Препарат вводят в прямую кишку. Обычно дефекация происходит через 5-10 минут после введения средства. Остатки суппозитория выводятся из кишечника с калом.
Для детей с 3-х месячного возраста и старше в дозе 750 мг 1 раз в сутки.
Взрослым: в дозе 1500 мг 1 раз в сутки.
При необходимости дозу повышают до 2 суппозиториев в сутки.
До и после применения суппозиториев следует тщательно вымыть руки.
Не следует применять препарат более 7 дней без особых указаний врача.

Suppositories of white color with a slight yellowish tint, odorless, hygroscopic, torpedo-shaped. Minor softening of the surface layer and sweating of the suppository surface is permissible.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the product; hemorrhoids in the acute stage; inflammatory diseases and tumors of the rectum; irritable bowel syndrome; intestinal obstruction; appendicitis; bleeding; diarrhea; undiagnosed abdominal pain; hemorrhagic rectocolitis; children under 3 months of age.
With caution
Renal insufficiency.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
During pregnancy, the product may be used if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
During breastfeeding, the use of the medicinal product is possible if, in the physician's opinion, the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the child, as it is unknown whether glycerin is excreted in breast milk.

Wash hands thoroughly before and after using the suppositories.
Systematic use is not recommended. Treatment should be discontinued after normal intestinal peristalsis is restored.
Do not lubricate the suppositories with mineral liquid or solid oils.

Противопоказания
Повышенная чувствительность к компонентам препарата, геморрой в стадии обострения, воспалительные заболевания и опухоли прямой кишки, синдром раздраженного кишечника, кишечная непроходимость, аппендицит, кровотечение, диарея, не- диагностированная боль в животе, геморрагический ректоколит; детям до 3-х месячного возраста.

Почечная недостаточность.
Применение при беременности и в период грудного вскармливания
В период беременности препарат можно использовать, если ожидаемая польза для матери превышает потенциальный риск для плода.
В период грудного вскармливания применение лекарственного препарата возможно если, по мнению врача, ожидаемая польза для матери превышает потенциальный риск для ребенка, так как неизвестно, экскретируется ли глицерин в грудное молоко.

Перед и после использования суппозиториев следует тщательно вымыть руки.
Систематический прием не рекомендуется. Лечение прекращают после восстановления нормальной перистальтики кишечника.
Не смазывать суппозитории минеральными жидкими или твердыми маслами.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

Allergic reactions, local reactions (itching and burning of the skin), and the occurrence of spasmodic pain in the intestinal area are possible. With prolonged use, irritation of the rectum and weakening of the physiological process of defecation may occur.

The symptom of overdose is frequent watery stools. In case of overdose, the medication should be discontinued.
