Composition

One capsule contains:
Active ingredient: dry extract of milk thistle fruit (36-44:1) - 86.5-93.35 mg, equivalent to 70 mg of silymarin (INN), equivalent to 54.1 mg of silymarin (HPLC/German Pharm.) calculated as silibinin.
Excipients: polysorbate 80, povidone, mannitol, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), magnesium stearate.
Shell: hard gelatin capsule, size "2", consisting of: gelatin, iron oxide red dye (E172), titanium dioxide (E171), sodium lauryl sulfate, iron oxide black dye (E172).

Appearance of the capsule: hard gelatin capsules, size "2", body and cap are brown.
Appearance of the capsule contents: yellow powder.

Pharmacology

It interacts with free radicals in the liver and converts them into less toxic compounds, interrupting the process of lipid peroxidation and preventing the destruction of cellular structures. In damaged hepatocytes, it stimulates the synthesis of structural and functional proteins and phospholipids (due to specific stimulation of RNA polymerase A), stabilizes cell membranes, prevents the loss of cell components (transaminases), and accelerates the regeneration of liver cells. It inhibits the penetration of certain hepatotoxic substances into the cell.

Absorption - low and slow (half-absorption period - 2.2 hours), metabolized in the liver by conjugation, half-life - 6 hours. Excreted primarily in bile in the form of glucuronides and sulfates. Does not accumulate in the body. Enterohepatic circulation is observed.

Взаимодействует со свободными радикалами в печени и переводит их в менее токсичные соединения, прерывая процесс перекис ного окисления липидов, препятствует разрушению клеточных структур. В поврежденных гепатоцитах. стимулирует синтез структурных и функциональных белков и фосфолипидов (за счет специфической стимуляции РНК-полимеразы А), стабилизирует клеточные мембраны, предотвращает потерю компонентов клетки (трансаминаз), ускоряет регенерацию клеток печени. Абсорбция - низкая и медленная (период полуабсорбции - 2,2 ч), метаболизируется в печени путем конъюгации, период полувыведения -6 ч. Выводится преимущественно с желчью в форме глюкуронидов и сульфатов. Не кумулирует в организме. Отмечается кишечно-печеночная циркуляция.

The capsules contain milk thistle seeds, which, due to their unique properties, help restore damaged liver cells and provide protection against toxins and other harmful substances. Legalon 70 is highly effective in the treatment of chronic liver diseases such as cirrhosis and hepatitis, and it also improves liver function after the consumption of alcohol or toxic substances. Capsules should be taken as directed by a physician.
