Indications

Leukopenia (mild forms, including those resulting from chemotherapy for malignant neoplasms, during X-ray and radiation therapy); agranulocytosis angina; alimentary-toxic aleukia; anemia; thrombocytopenia; benzene intoxication; radiation sickness; convalescence (after severe infections); peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum (as part of combination therapy); slow-healing wounds; burns; bone fractures; hepatitis; pancreatitis.

Лейкопения (легкие формы, в том числе возникшие в результате химиотерапии злокачественных новообразований, при рентгено- и лучевой терапии), агранулоцитарная ангина, алиментарно-токсическая алейкия, анемия, тромбоцитопения, интоксикация бензолом, лучевая болезнь, реконвалесценция (после тяжелых инфекций), язвенная болезнь желудка и 12-перстной кишки (в составе комбинированной терапии), вялозаживающие раны, ожоги, переломы костей, гепатит, панкреатит.

How to use

For oral use, during or after meals:
Adults - 500 mg 4 times a day (if necessary - up to 6 times a day, maximum daily dose - 3 g);
Children aged 3 to 8 years - 250 mg 3 times a day (maximum daily dose - 750 mg);
Children over 8 years old - up to 14 years - 250-500 mg 3 times a day (maximum daily dose - 1.5 g).
Course duration for gastrointestinal diseases - 30-40 days; in other cases, it may be shorter.

Внутрь, во время или после еды, взрослым - по 500 мг 4 раза в сутки (при необходимости - до 6 раз в сутки, максимальная суточная доза - 3 г); детям от 3 до 8 лет - по 250 мг 3 раза в сутки (максимальная суточная доза - 750 мг), старше 8 лет - до 14 лет по 250-500 мг 3 раза в сутки (максимальная суточная доза - 1,5 г). Курс при заболеваниях органов желудочно-кишечного тракта - 30-40 дней; в других случаях может быть менее продолжительным.

povidone K30 - 49 mg
talc - 14 mg
calcium stearate - 7 mg

Round, flat-cylindrical white tablets, with a bevel, with a score line on one side and engraved "R" or without it - on the other.

Contraindications & warnings

Hypersensitivity, leukemia (leukemic forms, especially myeloid), lymphogranulomatosis, hemoblastoses, malignant neoplasms of the bone marrow, pediatric age - up to 3 years.
Pregnancy and lactation:
During pregnancy and lactation, the expected benefits for the mother should be weighed against the potential risks for the fetus and child.

Methyluracil dosage forms should be used strictly according to the relevant indications.

Allergic reactions; headache; dizziness; heartburn.

No cases of overdose have been reported to date in clinical use.

Enhances the radioprotective effect of cystamine.

Pharmacology

Has anabolic activity. Exhibits hematopoietic, leukopoietic, immunostimulatory, and anti-inflammatory effects. By normalizing nucleic acid metabolism, it accelerates regeneration processes in wounds, promoting tissue growth and granulation maturation, as well as epithelialization (including in rapidly proliferating cells of the gastrointestinal tract mucosa), stimulates erythropoiesis and leukopoiesis, and enhances cellular and humoral immune factors.
