Indications

Replacement therapy for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency: chronic pancreatitis, pancreatectomy, post-radiation condition, dyspepsia, cystic fibrosis; flatulence, diarrhea of non-infectious origin.
Malabsorption (post-resection state of the stomach and small intestine): to improve food digestion in individuals with normal gastrointestinal function in cases of dietary indiscretions (consumption of fatty foods, large amounts of food, irregular eating) and in cases of chewing dysfunction, sedentary lifestyle, prolonged immobilization. Remheld syndrome (gastrocardiac syndrome).
Preparation for radiological examination and ultrasound of the abdominal organs.

Method of application and doses

The dose of the drug is selected individually depending on age, severity of symptoms, and dietary composition. The dose selection is carried out using registered medicinal products Mikrazim® 10,000 IU and Mikrazim® 25,000 IU. Capsules are taken orally, with a sufficient amount of non-alkaline liquid (water, fruit juices). If the single dose of the drug is more than 1 capsule, half of the total number of capsules should be taken immediately before meals, and the other half during meals. The enzymatic activity of Micrasim® manifests maximally within 30 minutes after oral administration, ensuring the rapid onset of effect. After interacting with substrates, protease, lipase, and amylase lose their activity in the lower parts of the intestine and are excreted from the body along with the intestinal contents. Micrasim® is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and acts only in the lumen of the intestine.
