How to use
For external use.
Treatment of warts (common, flat, and genital warts): apply to the surface 2-3 times a day for a period of 2 weeks to 2 months.
To enhance the effect, after applying the ointment, an occlusive dressing with wax paper should be applied.

Лечение бородавок (обыкновенных, плоских и остроконечных кондилом): смазывают их поверхность 2-3 раза в день в течение от 2 недель до 2 месяцев.
Для усиления эффекта после нанесения мази накладывают окклюзионную повязку с вощеной бумагой.
Composition
Active ingredient: dioxotetrahydroxytetrahydronaphthalene (oxolin) - 3.0 g
Excipients: liquid paraffin (mineral oil) - 6.0 g, petroleum jelly - up to 100 g.
Ointment from white to light yellow in color. A pink tint may appear during storage.

Вспомогательные вещества: парафин жидкий (вазелиновое масло) - 6,0 г, вазелин - до 100 г.
Мазь от белого до светло-желтого цвета. При хранении допускается появление розового оттенка.

Pharmacology
Antiviral agent for external use.
Exhibits antiviral activity by blocking the binding sites of the virus on the cell membrane surface, preventing viral reproduction within cells. The following viruses are sensitive to the action of dioxotetrahydroxytetrahydronaphthalene: Herpes simplex, herpes zoster, adenoviruses, infectious wart viruses, and molluscum contagiosum.
When applied to the skin, approximately 5% of the drug is absorbed. It does not accumulate in the body and is primarily excreted by the kidneys within 24 hours.

Противовирусное средство для наружного применения.
Обладает противовирусной активностью, блокируя места связывания вируса с поверхностью клеточной мембраны, препятствует репродукции вируса в клетках. К действию диоксотетрагидрокситетрагидронафталина чувствительны вирусы Herpes simplex, опоясывающего герпеса, аденовирусы, вирусы инфекционных бородавок и контагиозного моллюска.
При нанесении на кожу всасывается около 5 % препарата. В организме не кумулирует и выводится в основном почками в течение суток.
