IHD, myocardial dystrophy, post-myocardial infarction state, congenital and acquired heart defects, heart rhythm disorders, especially in cases of glycoside intoxication, myocarditis, dystrophic changes in the myocardium after heavy physical exertion and transferred infectious diseases or due to endocrine disorders; hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, fatty liver dystrophy, including those caused by alcohol or medications; prevention of leukopenia during radioactive exposure; surgeries on an isolated kidney (as a means of pharmacological protection during temporary absence of blood circulation in the operated organ)

For oral administration, the initial daily dose is 600-800 mg, then the dose is gradually increased to 2.4 g in 3-4 doses.
For intravenous (bolus or drip) administration, the initial dose is 200 mg once, then the dose is increased to 400 mg 1-2 times.
The duration of the course of treatment is determined individually.

Inosine should be prescribed with caution in cases of kidney function impairment. In the event of itching and skin erythema, inosine should be discontinued.

Possible: itching, skin hyperemia.
Rare: increased uric acid concentration.

Inosine is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. It is metabolized in the liver to form glucuronic acid, which is subsequently oxidized. A small amount is excreted by the kidneys.
