Indications

The drug is used for the treatment of furuncles, carbuncles, hidradenitis, abscesses, purulent-complicated wounds, infections caused by staphylococci, purulent angina, bronchitis, pleuritis, bursitis, thermal burns, chronic osteomyelitis, phlegmon, tenosynovitis, mastitis, cystitis, cholecystitis. In cases of deeply infiltrated and abscessed staphylococcal sycosis, enterocolitis, etc., as well as for prophylactic purposes: in freshly infected wounds (surgery in the abdominal and thoracic cavities, outdoor and industrial trauma, etc.).

Препарат применяется для лечения фурункулов, карбункулов, гидроаденитов, абсцессов, гнойно-осложненных ран, инфицированных стафилококками, гнойных ангин, бронхитов, плевритов, бурситов, термических ожогов, хронических остеомиелитов, флегмон, тендовагинитов, маститов, циститов, холециститов. При глубоко инфильтрированном и абсцедированном стафилококковом сикозе, энтероколите и др., а также с профилактической целью: при свежеинфицированных ранах (операции в брюшной и грудной полостях, уличный и производственный травматизм и др.).

How to use

Before use, shake the vial containing the bacteriophage and inspect it. The solution should be clear and free of sediment.
Attention! Do not use if the solution is cloudy!
Due to the presence of a nutrient medium in the preparation, which may allow bacteria from the environment to grow and cause cloudiness, the following rules must be observed when opening the vial:

• thoroughly wash hands;

• treat the cap with an alcohol-containing solution;

• remove the cap without opening the stopper;

• do not place the stopper with the inner surface down on the table or other surfaces;

• do not leave the vial open;

• store the opened vial only in the refrigerator.
When using small doses (2-8 drops), the preparation should be drawn with a sterile syringe in a volume of 0.5 - 1 ml.
The preparation from the opened vial, provided that the storage conditions, the above rules, and the absence of cloudiness are maintained, can be used throughout its shelf life.
Treatment of purulent-inflammatory diseases with localized lesions should be carried out simultaneously both locally and by taking the preparation orally for 7-20 days (according to clinical indications).

Перед использованием флакон с бактериофагом необходимо взболтать и просмотреть. Препарат должен быть прозрачным и не содержать осадка.
Внимание! При помутнении препарат не применять!
Вследствие содержания в препарате питательной среды, в которой могут развиваться бактерии из окружающей среды, вызывая помутнение препарата, необходимо при вскрытии флакона соблюдать следующие правила:

• тщательно мыть руки;

• обработать колпачок спиртосодержащим раствором;

• снять колпачок, не открывая пробки;

• не класть пробку внутренней поверхностью па стол или другие предметы;

• не оставлять флакон открытым;

• вскрытый флакон хранить только в холодильнике.
При использовании малых доз (2-8 капель) препарат необходимо отбирать стерильным шприцем в объеме 0,5 - 1 мл.
Препарат из вскрытого флакона при соблюдении условий хранения, вышеперечисленных правил и отсутствии помутнения может быть использован в течение всего срока годности.

Pharmacology

Pyobacteriophage polyvalent has the ability to specifically lyse Staphylococcus, Streptococcus (including Enterococcus), Proteus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas, and Escherichia coli.

Treatment and prevention of purulent-inflammatory and enteral diseases caused by staphylococci, streptococci, proteus, klebsiella, pseudomonas, and escherichia coli:
— diseases of the ear, throat, nose, respiratory tract, and lungs - sinusitis, otitis media, angina, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy;
— surgical infections - wound suppuration, burns, abscess, phlegmon, furuncles, carbuncles, hidradenitis, paronychia, paraproctitis, mastitis, bursitis, osteomyelitis;
— urogenital infections - urethritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis, colpitis, endometritis, salpingooophoritis;
— post-traumatic conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, purulent corneal ulcers, and iridocyclitis;
— enteral infections - gastroenterocolitis, cholecystitis, dysbiosis;
— generalized septic diseases;
— purulent-inflammatory diseases in newborns - omphalitis, pyoderma, conjunctivitis, gastroenterocolitis, sepsis, etc.;
— other diseases caused by staphylococci, streptococci (including enterococci), proteus, klebsiella pneumoniae, pseudomonas, and escherichia coli.
In cases of severe manifestations of infections caused by staphylococci, streptococci, proteus, klebsiella pneumoniae, pseudomonas, and escherichia coli, the drug is prescribed as part of combination therapy.
For preventive purposes, the drug is used for the treatment of surgical and freshly infected wounds, as well as for the prevention of nosocomial infections based on epidemiological indications.
An important condition for effective phage therapy is the preliminary determination of the phage sensitivity of the pathogen.

— ypoгенитальные инфекции - уретрит, цистит, пиелонефрит, кольпит, эндометрит, сальпингоофорит;
— посттравматические конъюнктивиты, кератоконъюнктивиты, гнойные язвы роговицы и иридоциклиты;
— энтеральные инфекции - гастроэнтероколит, холецистит, дисбактериоз;
— генерализованные септические заболевания;
— гнойно-воспалительные заболевания новорожденных - омфалит, пиодермия, конъюнктивит, гастроэнтероколит, сепсис и др.;
— другие заболевания, вызванные бактериями стафилококков, стрептококков (в том числе энтерококков), протея, клебсиелл пневмонии, синегнойной и кишечной палочек.
При тяжелых проявлениях инфекций, вызванных стафилококками, стрептококками, протеем, клебсиеллой пневмонии, синсгнойной и кишечной палочками, препарат назначается в составе комплексной терапии.
С профилактической целью препарат используют для обработки операционных и свежеинфинированных ран, а также для профилактики внутрибольничных инфекций по эпидемическим показаниям.
Важным условием эффективной фаготерапии является предварительное определение фагочувствительности возбудителя.
