How to use

For external use, locally.
Adults
The gel is applied twice a day, in the morning and evening, gently massaging it into the affected areas of the skin with light circular motions. If necessary, the gel can be used in the form of compresses and occlusive dressings.
Troxerutin Vramed gel is not used in children.

Contraindications & warnings

• Hypersensitivity to troxerutin or any other excipient of the gel.
• Age under 18 years.

The gel's pH is compatible with that of the skin, therefore it does not cause irritation or hypersensitivity upon external application. The gel does not disrupt the normal physiological properties of the skin (passage through pores, acid-base balance, permeability), as it is formulated on a water basis.

When treating with troxerutin (gel), side effects are rarely observed. With prolonged use, skin redness and itching may occur.

Pharmacology

Flavonoid (a derivative of rutin) has P-vitamin activity; it exerts venotonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory, and anti-edema effects.
Its pharmacodynamic properties are associated with the participation of bioflavonoids of troxerutin in redox processes and the inhibition of hyaluronidase. By inhibiting hyaluronidase, troxerutin stabilizes the hyaluronic acid of cell membranes and reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, increasing their tone. It has antioxidant activity, thereby preventing the oxidation of ascorbic acid, adrenaline, and lipids. It prevents damage to the basal membrane of endothelial cells when exposed to various factors. Troxerutin reduces exudative inflammation in the vascular wall, limiting the adhesion of platelets to its surface. As a result of treatment with troxerutin, the feeling of heaviness in the legs disappears, tissue swelling decreases, and trophism improves.

Troxerutin is well absorbed from the skin surface when applied as a gel. The active substance penetrates the blood vessels of the subcutaneous tissue. When used locally, it does not cause systemic effects on organs, as there is no significant penetration of troxerutin into the general circulation.

Флавоноид (производное рутина), обладает Р-витаминной активностью; оказывает венотонизирующее, ангиопротективное, противовоспалительное и противоотечное действие.
Его фармакодинамические свойства связаны с участием биофлавоноидов троксерутина в окислительно-восстановительных процессах и ингибировании гиалуронидазы. Ингибируя гиалуронидазу, троксерутин стабилизирует гиалуроновую кислоту клеточных оболочек и уменьшает проницаемость и ломкость капилляров, повышает их тонус. Обладает антиоксидантной активностью, в результате чего предотвращает окисление аскорбиновой кислоты, адреналина и липидов. Предотвращает повреждение базальной мембраны эндотелиальных клеток при воздействии на нее различных факторов. Троксерутин снижает экссудативное воспаление в сосудистой стенке, ограничивая прилипание тромбоцитов к ее поверхности. Троксерутин хорошо всасывается с поверхности кожи при его нанесении в виде геля. Активное вещество проникает в кровеносные сосуды подкожной ткани. При местном применении не вызывает системного действия на органы, так как не наблюдается значительного проникновения троксерутина в общее кровообращение

The active ingredient in the product is troxerutin, which has venotonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory, and anti-edema effects. The product is available in the form of a gel that is quickly absorbed into the skin, leaving no greasy residue and providing a long-lasting effect. It is recommended for the treatment of venous insufficiency (varicose veins), thrombophlebitis, as well as for the prevention of vascular manifestations on the skin.

В состав препарата входит активное вещество - троксерутин, который оказывает венотонизирующее, ангиопротективное, противовоспалительное и противоотечное действие.
