How to use

For external use.
The gel is applied in the morning and evening to the affected area of the skin using light massaging movements from bottom to top until fully absorbed. If for any reason the application of the product is missed, the patient may apply it at any time, maintaining an interval of at least 10-12 hours between treatment sessions.
If necessary, the gel can be applied under an occlusive dressing.
If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 6-7 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Применять наружно.
Гель наносят утром и вечером на кожу в область поражения с помощью легких массирующих движений снизу вверх до его полного всасывания в кожу. Если по каким-либо причинам использование препарата пропущено, пациент может нанести его в любое время, соблюдая интервал между сеансами лечения не менее 10-12 часов.
При необходимости гель можно наносить под окклюзионную повязку.
Если через 6-7 дней симптомы заболевания ухудшаются или не проходят, следует обратиться к врачу.

Composition

100 g of gel for external use contains:
Active ingredient: troxerutin - 2.0000 g.
Excipients: disodium edetate - 0.0500 g; triethanolamine - 0.7000 g; carbomer - 0.6000 g; benzalkonium chloride - 0.0575 g; purified water up to 100.0000 g.

Homogeneous transparent gel from yellow to yellowish-green in color, odorless.

Contraindications & warnings

Increased sensitivity to troxerutin or any excipient of the drug.
Disruption of the integrity of the skin.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding:
There is no data on adverse effects on the fetus and newborns. The drug can be used in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.

Avoid contact of the gel with the eyes and mucous membranes. After application, hands must be washed. Do not apply to open wounds!
Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery:
Troxerutin does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and perform work that requires increased speed of psychomotor reactions.

Нарушение целостности кожных покровов
Применение при беременности и в период грудного вскармливания:
Нет данных о нежелательном действии на плод и новорожденных. Лекарственный препарат можно применять во втором и третьем триместре беременности.

Следует избегать попадания геля в глаза и на слизистые оболочки. После нанесения необходимо вымыть руки. Не наносить на открытые раны!
Влияние на способность управлять транспортными средствами и другими механизмами:
Троксерутин не влияет на способность к вождению автотранспорта и выполнению работ, требующих повышенной скорости психомоторных реакций.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

Allergic reactions (skin redness, itching, rash) are observed in rare cases.
These symptoms quickly resolve after discontinuation of treatment.

Cases of overdose with local application have not been reported.

There is no data on the interaction of troxerutin in this dosage form with other medicinal products.

Pharmacology

Troxerutin is a derivative of rutin, possessing P-vitamin activity, venotonic, angioprotective, anti-edematous, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects.
Troxerutin participates in redox processes, blocks hyaluronidase, stabilizes hyaluronic acid in cell membranes, and reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, increasing their tone. It increases the density of the vascular wall, reduces the exudation of the liquid component, and the diapedesis of blood cells. It decreases inflammation in the vascular wall by limiting platelet adhesion to its surface.

When applied to the skin, the active substance quickly penetrates through the epidermis, is detected in the dermis after 30 minutes, and in the subcutaneous adipose tissue after 2-5 hours.

Троксерутин представляет собой производное рутина, обладает Р-витаминной активностью, венотонизирующим, ангиопротекторным, противоотечным, антиоксидантным и противовоспалительным действием
Троксерутин участвует в окислительно-восстановительных процессах, блокирует гиалуранидазу, стабилизирует гиалуроновую кислоту клеточных мембран и уменьшает проницаемость и ломкость капилляров, повышает их тонус. Увеличивает плотность сосудистой стенки, уменьшает экссудацию жидкой части и диапедез клеток крови. Снижает воспаление в сосудистой стенке, ограничивая адгезию тромбоцитов к ее поверхности.

Description

Troxerutin 2% gel is an effective topical agent containing a high concentration of troxerutin, a plant-derived bioflavonoid. The product has P-vitamin activity, venotonic, angioprotective, anti-edema, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects. It improves blood microcirculation, strengthens capillary walls, prevents thrombus formation, and helps reduce swelling and alleviate pain. The gel is well absorbed and suitable for all skin types. The use of the product is particularly recommended for varicose veins, phlebitis, hemorrhoids, as well as for reducing swelling and bruising after contusions, injections, and injuries.
