How to use

Orally, 1 tablet twice a day.
The duration of treatment with Vitaprost® for benign prostatic hyperplasia is at least 30 days, and for chronic prostatitis, at least 10 days.
For the prevention of exacerbations of chronic prostatitis, take 1 tablet twice a day for at least 30 days, 1-2 times a year.

Длительность курса лечения препаратом Витапрост® при доброкачественной гиперплазии предстательной железы - не менее 30 дней, при хроническом простатите - не менее 10 дней.
Для профилактики обострений хронического простатита применяют по 1 таблетке 2 раза в день в течение не менее 30 дней - 1-2 раза в год.

Composition

Composition per 1 tablet
Active ingredient: prostate extract - 100 mg (calculated as water-soluble peptides - 20 mg);
Excipients: sucrose, lactose monohydrate, calcium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose;
Coating composition: methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer [1:1], titanium dioxide, talc, triethyl citrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, indigo carmine.

Tablets ranging from blue to light blue in color, round, biconvex, with the possibility of speckles.

Contraindications & warnings

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Lactase deficiency, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency, lactose intolerance, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption (the drug contains lactose and sucrose).

The treatment of chronic prostatitis and conditions before and after surgical interventions on the prostate gland should be comprehensive, involving not only the prescription of Vitaprost® tablets but also the use of other groups of medications and non-drug treatment methods.

Pharmacology

Vitaprost® has organotropic action on the prostate gland. It reduces the degree of edema, leukocyte infiltration of the prostate, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the acinar secretions, and stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder. It improves microcirculation in the prostate gland by reducing thrombosis, exhibiting anti-aggregant activity, and preventing the development of venule thrombosis in the prostate.

Based on clinical research data, it has been proven that Vitaprost® moderately reduces the volume of the prostate gland. The drug decreases the severity of obstructive and irritative symptoms in benign prostatic hyperplasia, which is reflected in increased maximum and average flow rates of urine and reduced residual urine volume.

Clinical studies have demonstrated that the use of Vitaprost® reduces the likelihood of exacerbations of chronic abacterial prostatitis, without causing changes in clinical and biochemical blood tests or general urine analysis. The effectiveness of Vitaprost® for the prevention of exacerbations of chronic abacterial prostatitis, according to researchers, is estimated at 97.5%.

Vitaprost® normalizes the parameters of prostate secretions and ejaculate. It reduces pain and discomfort caused by prostatitis, alleviates dysuric phenomena, and improves copulatory function.

Эффективность применения препарата Витапрост® для профилактики обострений хронического абактериального простатита по оценкам врачей-исследователей составляет 97,5%.
Витапрост® нормализует параметры секрета предстательной железы и эякулята. Уменьшает боль и дискомфорт, вызванные простатитом, устраняет дизурические явления, улучшает копулятивную функцию.

The main active ingredient is an extract of pig prostate, which has anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, and antibacterial properties. The medication improves urination, alleviates painful sensations in the prostate area, and enhances erectile function.

It is recommended for men over 18 years old with diagnosed chronic inflammatory prostate disease, and for the prevention of adenoma. The medication is safe and does not cause side effects when used strictly as prescribed by a doctor. Very rarely, allergic reactions may occur. It is advisable to consult a doctor before use.
