How to use

The Contour TS test strips are intended for the self-determination of glucose concentration in whole blood by patients with diabetes and medical professionals.
They are designed for use with the Contour TS blood glucose meter.
Before measuring glucose, prepare the glucometer, lancing device, lancets, and test strips.
Wash your hands thoroughly and dry them before the analysis.

The blood sampling and operation with the Contour TS glucometer occur in the following sequence:
1) Insert the lancet into the lancing device according to the instructions. For detailed instructions on preparing the lancing device, see the insert with your lancing device.
2) Remove a test strip from the tube, insert it into the glucometer, and wait for the beep. A symbol with a flashing strip and a drop of blood should appear on the screen.
3) Firmly press the lancing device against the puncture site and press the button.
4) With slight pressure, slide your other hand along the finger towards the puncture site to form a drop of blood. Do not squeeze the puncture site.
5) Hold the glucometer in a vertical position and touch the tip of the test strip to the drop of blood, waiting for the test strip to fill (a signal will sound).
6) After the signal, a reverse five-second countdown will begin, and the result will appear on the screen. The result is automatically saved in the device's memory.
To turn off the device, carefully remove the test strip.

Тест - полоски Контур ТС (Contour TS) предназначены для самостоятельного определения концентрации глюкозы в цельной крови пациентами с диабетом и медицинскими специалистами.
Предназначены для использования с прибором для определения уровня глюкозы в крови Контур ТС (Contour TS).
Перед проведением измерения глюкозы необходимо подготовить глюкометр, устройство для прокалывания, ланцеты, тест-полоски.
Перед анализом нужно тщательно вымыть руки и насухо их вытереть.

Взятие крови и работа с глюкометром Контур ТС происходит в следующей последовательности:
1) В прокалыватель по инструкции вставьте ланцет. Подробные инструкции по подготовке прокалывателя см. во вкладыше к вашему прокалывателю.
2) Из тубуса извлеките тест-полоску, вставьте ее в глюкометр и дождитесь звукового сигнала. На экране должен появиться символ с мигающей полоской и каплей крови.
3) Плотно прижмите прокалыватель к месту прокола и нажмите на кнопку.
4) С небольшим усилием проведите другой рукой по пальцу в направлении места
прокола для образования капли крови. Не сдавливайте место прокола.
5) Поднесите глюкометр в вертикальном положении и прикоснитесь кончиком тест-полоски к капле крови, дождитесь заполнения тест-полоски (прозвучит сигнал).
6) После сигнала начнется обратный пятисекундный отсчет и на экране появится результат. В памяти устройства результат сохраняется автоматически.
Для выключения устройства необходимо аккуратно вынуть тест-полоску.

Contour TS test strips are plastic strips measuring 5 by 28 mm, with an electrode system at one end and a blood collection chamber at the other. The test strips use the enzyme FAD-GDH.

Contraindications & warnings

Storage and Handling Instructions for Test Strips
- Store the strips at a temperature between 9 and 30 °C.
- Keep the strips in the original vial. After removing a strip from the vial, immediately close the lid tightly.
- Do not use test strips after the expiration date. The expiration date is indicated on the vial label as well as on the box of test strips.
- The expiration date of the test strips (indicated on the packaging) does not depend on the moment the vial is opened.
- Test strips are intended for single use only. Do not reuse them.
- After opening the box of test strips, ensure that the vial lid is securely closed. If the lid is not closed, do not use the test strips.

Правила хранения и обращения тест-полосок
-Храните полоски при температуре от 9 до 30 °C.
-Храните полоски в оригинальном флаконе. Вынув полоску из флакона, сразу же плотно закройте его крышкой.
-Не используйте тест - полоски после истечения срока годности. Срок годности обозначен на наклейке флакона, а также на коробке с тест - полосками.
-Срок годности тест-полосок (указан на упаковке) - не зависит от момента открытия флакона с тест-полосками.
-Тест-полоски предназначены для однократного применения. Не используйте их повторно.
-Открыв коробку с тест-полосками, убедитесь в том, что крышка флакона надежно закрыта. Если крышка не закрыта, не используйте тест-полоски.

• The test strips use the enzyme FAD-GDH

- The FAD-GDH enzyme is resistant to the effects of many common substances that influence measurement accuracy and has virtually no interaction with medications, ensuring accurate measurements even when taking, for example, paracetamol or ascorbic acid/vitamin C.
