How to use

Directions for Use
Before measuring glucose, prepare the glucometer, lancing device, lancets, and test strips.
Wash your hands thoroughly and dry them before testing.

Blood sampling and working with the Contour Plus glucometer occurs in the following sequence:

1) Insert the lancet into the lancing device according to the instructions. For detailed instructions on preparing the lancing device, see the insert included with the device.
2) Remove a test strip from the vial, insert it into the glucometer, and wait for the sound signal. The screen should display the test strip symbol with a flashing blood drop.
3) Firmly press the lancing device against the puncture site and press the button.
4) Hold the glucometer in a vertical position and touch the tip of the test strip to the drop of blood, waiting for the test strip to fill (a signal will sound).
5) After the signal, a reverse five-second countdown will begin, and the result will appear on the screen. The result is automatically saved in the device's memory.
To turn off the device, carefully remove the test strip.

Способ применения
Перед проведением измерения глюкозы необходимо подготовить глюкометр, устройство для прокалывания, ланцеты, тест-полоски.
Перед тестированием нужно тщательно вымыть руки и насухо их вытереть.

Взятие крови и работа с глюкометром линейки Контур Плюс происходит в следующей последовательности:

1) В прокалыватель по инструкции вставьте ланцет. Подробные инструкции по подготовке прокалывателя см. во вкладыше к прокалывателю.
2) Из флакона извлеките тест-полоску, вставьте ее в глюкометр и дождитесь звукового сигнала. На экране должен появиться символ тест-полоски с мигающей каплей крови.
3) Плотно прижмите прокалыватель к месту прокола и нажмите на кнопку.
4) Поднесите глюкометр в вертикальном положении и прикоснитесь кончиком тест-полоски к капле крови, дождитесь заполнения тест-полоски (прозвучит сигнал).
5) После сигнала начнется обратный пятисекундный отсчет и на экране появится результат. В памяти устройства результат сохраняется автоматически.
Для выключения устройства необходимо аккуратно вынуть тест-полоску.

Contour Plus test strips are plastic strips measuring 5 by 28 mm, with an electrode system at one end and a blood collection chamber at the other.
Chemical composition:
FAD - glucose dehydrogenase (flavin adenine dinucleotide-glucose dehydrogenase, FAD-GDH), (Aspergillus sp., 4.0 units per test strip), 21%; mediator - 54%, inactive ingredients 25%.

Тест-полоски Контур Плюс представляют собой пластиковые полоски размером 5 на 28 мм, с системой электродов на одном конце и камерой для забора крови - на другом.
Химический состав:
FAD - глюкозодегидрогеназа (флавинадениндинуклеотид-глюкозодегидрогеназа, FAD-GDH), (Aspergillus sp., 4,0 ед. на тест-полоску), 21 %; медиатор - 54%, неактивные ингредиенты 25 %.

Storage and Handling Instructions for Test Strips
- Store the strips at a temperature between 0 and 30 °C.
- Keep the strips in the original vial. After removing a strip from the vial, immediately close the lid tightly.
- Do not use test strips after the expiration date. The expiration date is indicated on the vial label as well as on the box of test strips.
- The expiration date of the test strips (indicated on the packaging) does not depend on the moment the vial is opened.
- Test strips are intended for single use only. Do not reuse them.
Indications
Contour Plus test strips are intended for the self-determination of glucose concentration in whole blood by patients with diabetes and healthcare professionals.

Правила хранения и обращения тест-полосок
-Храните полоски при температуре от 0 до 30 °C.
-Храните полоски в оригинальном флаконе. Вынув полоску из флакона, сразу же плотно закройте его крышкой.
-Не используйте тест - полоски после истечения срока годности. Срок годности обозначен на наклейке флакона, а также на коробке с тест - полосками.

-Тест-полоски предназначены для однократного применения. Не используйте их повторно.

Contour Plus test strips are test strips for electrochemical glucometers in the Contour Plus line and can be used for daily glycemic control.

Contour Plus test strips have several features that ensure measurement accuracy:
