Heating pads are intended for local warming of the body.

Before use, rinse the heating pad with hot water at a temperature not exceeding 90°C, and wipe the exterior twice with a gauze swab moistened in a 1% (by weight) chloramine solution or a 3% (by weight) hydrogen peroxide solution, or a 3% (by weight) hydrogen peroxide solution with the addition of a 0.5% (by weight) detergent solution ("Novost", "Astra", "Progress", "Lotus"), then rinse with running water.
Sterilization is performed with a 6% (by weight) hydrogen peroxide solution at a temperature of at least 18°C for 360 minutes.

Heating pads should be stored in their packaged form in a closed storage facility according to storage condition group 2(C) as per GOST 15150 at a temperature of 0 to 25°C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%, at least 1 meter away from heating appliances, protected from direct sunlight.
During transportation and storage, heating pads should not be exposed to oils, solvents, acids, alkalis, and other substances that can damage rubber.
The shelf life of heating pads is 3.5 years from the date of manufacture.
The warranty period for use is two years from the date of commissioning.

Hot water bottles must be resistant to multiple disinfections using one of the following disinfectants:

• 1% (by weight) solution of chloramine;

• 3% (by weight) solution of hydrogen peroxide according to GOST 177;

• 3% (by weight) solution of hydrogen peroxide according to GOST 177 with the addition of 0.5% (by weight) solution of detergent according to GOST 25644.
After 100 cycles of disinfection, the hot water bottles should not deform, and no cracks should appear on their surface.
Hot water bottles type A must be resistant to water exposure according to GOST 2874 at a temperature of (70±2)°C.
After processing, the hot water bottles must be airtight.
