1. Before use, check the expiration date of the syringe indicated on the packaging and the integrity of the consumer packaging. Do not use after the expiration date or if the packaging is damaged. Sterile until opened.
2. Open the individual packaging of the syringe. Remove the syringe.
3. Hold the syringe and remove the protective cap from the needle.
4. Holding the cylindrical body, gently pull the plunger of the syringe to draw the required volume of the medication.
5. Raise the syringe and gently push the plunger to expel air.
6. If air bubbles remain in the cylinder of the syringe, remove them by lightly tapping the cylinder with your finger while holding the syringe with the tip facing up.
7. Remove any remaining air from the cylinder and connector with an additional smooth forward movement of the plunger.
8. Thoroughly disinfect the skin at the injection site with a swab soaked in disinfectant solution.
9. Administer the medication according to the instructions.
10. After the injection, press the injection site with a swab soaked in disinfectant solution, cover the needle with the cap. Dispose of the syringe. Beware of accidental needle stick with the used needle.
